HOW TO COOK COOKED FROM CARROT
If you have harvested a large crop of carrots, then you have a reason to please your loved ones with delicious candied fruits. This is an excellent substitute for sweets, which will delight children and adults at the festive table. How to make candied carrots, landscape designer Sofya Krasavina will tell us.
Take 1 kg of carrots, 100-150 g of granulated sugar, 1 lemon.
Wash the carrots, peel them, cut them into large rings according to 1-1,5 cm and put them in a pan.
Pour the carrots with 100-150 g sugar, squeeze the juice of one lemon and leave for 6-8 hours to let the carrots give juice. If the carrots are dry and not enough juice, then you can add half a glass of water.
We put on the stove, bring to a boil and let it boil for 5 minutes. Cool and repeat the procedure up to 5 times. We spread the carrots on a baking sheet, dry in the oven at 100 degrees 2-4 hours, depending on the size of the rings.
After the oven, sprinkle with granulated sugar or icing sugar and serve a tea table.

As a rule, candied fruit ends very quickly, so stock up on carrots. In a similar way, you can make candied beets.
