GROWING SPRING BIRTHDAY IN THE GARDEN - PLANTING AND CARE
I’m offered spring bulbs. What is he like? When does it bloom? And where better to plant it?

- Spring grass is an early bulbous plant: as soon as the snow melts, its yellow flowers peep out. This may be at the end of February, when March “comes to visit” or winter does not come, as this year.
At first, the flower is only 5 cm high. It is understandable, in frost it is easier for such a plant to hide under the fallen leaves and dry grass. But gradually it stretches out, becomes larger, and a little later leaves appear.
At the same time with spring plant (Eranthis - Eranthis) or a little later, crocuses, iridodictums, and white flowers can bloom.
Spring planting material is usually on sale in August or September, when most bulb and small bulb plants are planted. Sometimes you can also meet in the spring - of course, these are last year's bulbs, which will have to be well looked after so that they do not die and later delighted.
Care for the spring is the same as for other bulbous primroses. They grow well in open areas or near trees. But I always select a place for them without stagnation of water.
A small baby forms on the nodule, and after 4-5 years in one place the “nests” thicken and bloom poorly. They need to be seated.
It is better to transplant erantis after the leaves barely begin to dry out. If they die completely, finding the bulbs will be problematic. After all, they are small and flat - like a penny. I plant them immediately after digging in a small group - so they look better. The spring flower from the baby blooms in 2-3 years.
In addition, it can be propagated by seeds.
It is advisable to sow them immediately after harvest. Although the plant gives self-seeding, which thanks to ants I find in secluded corners of the garden, where I do not dig the soil.
