Propagated by root offspring and green cuttings. Planting a small seedling, it grows rapidly, turning into a massive bush.
Goldenrod is also a medicinal plant. Leafy tops of shoots with inflorescences are used as a medicinal raw material, they are cut off at the very beginning of flowering, at the end of flowering, they cannot be collected, since when the inflorescences are dried, they begin to fluff, which is undesirable.

How this plant (solidago) appeared in our forest garden, I don’t even remember. The most important thing that I remember was the “unpretentious disposition” and the ease of reproduction.
We have this plant is a herbaceous perennial with a height of up to 1 m. Stems are durable, leaves with small denticles. The flowers are yellow, collected in small baskets with a diameter of 1-1,5 cm,
In turn, they form a paniculate inflorescence. Blossoming solidago in August and with good weather blossoms until the end of September.
The plant is very unpretentious, not very demanding for lighting and soil. Hibernates without shelter, can withstand even severe frosts.
I have a good life in the front garden with tall decorative bushes. Particularly beautiful against the background of their bright autumn foliage.
I propagate the plant without problems, after four years I divide the bushes, and use the delenki for breeding.
Care for solidago normal. In the spring I remove the dead stems, loosen the soil, weed out the weeds, I apply mineral fertilizers. I watered as necessary.
At me in a garden the goldenrod grows in group plantings. It looks very nice near the decorative pond, near the gate.
Wherever the goldenrod grows, its bright sunny color causes a smile and a good mood.
In our family, we call this plant a summer mimosa, because it does not bloom in spring, but from summer to autumn. In the cut, it looks no worse than a mimosa. In addition, the goldenrod can also be used for winter bouquets.
