Japanese-style garden and plot - how to design?

Create a quiet corner on the site for a relaxing holiday can be with the help of landscape compositions in the Japanese style, which are characterized by an abundance of green plants, gravel paddocks and small ponds. Such compositions are becoming increasingly popular and relevant even in small areas.

In the kindergarten, the project of which we cite, you can think about the eternal, sitting on a bench hidden under cherry (cherry small-sawed), or simply enjoying the rustle of bamboo leaves (ergetic umbellic). A narrow path of gravel from the bench leads to the center of the site, where a flower bed is located on the dais. Here grows a sagitta awl-shaped in azalea frame with bright red flowers. When it comes to village gardens, most of us imagine lush flower gardens of herbaceous perennials, annual flowers and ornamental shrubs, enclosed by low wooden fences.

In this design of the plot, plants typical for the village garden blooming in the summer were used: peony, lupine and poppy. They are planted in two flower beds near a very sprawling flower bed rose `Donauprinzessin`. She pleases with dark pink flowers several times during the summer. Roses and peonies look good together, not only in the flower garden, but also in the vase. Among the luxurious star flowers, discreet boxwoods are planted in the form of balls. Against the background of a picket fence painted in light blue, giant plants look spectacular - uiTOK-po3a'Nigra 'with dark purple flowers, stately Chinese miscanthus and several sunflowers that can be grown from seeds yourself.

Flower beds are framed by geraniums of the Cantabridge 'Biokovo', which is compact in shape and retains green leaves even in the winter. Leaves adorn the garden until they are covered with snow. Countless small white flowers of Cantabridge's geraniums bloom in June-July. A wide lawn path leads to a cozy resting place, arranged under the 'Topaz' apple tree, resistant to scab. The apple tree plays the role of the main tree of the garden.

In all its glory lupine appears in late June, when numerous flower-like flowers begin to unfold beneath long peduncles. In order to significantly extend this wonderful period, regularly cut the fading flowers in the inflorescences, until the seeds are formed. Then the lupine will grow new shoots and form inflorescences, which will dissolve in August. This plant prefers a sunny place and develops well on soil with a weakly acidic or neutral reaction and good water permeability.
