Shrubs can be replanted until mid-September. A transplant in early autumn is the least painful for plants - at this time even adult specimens take root well.
Currant and gooseberry when planting are buried, and raspberries, on the contrary, plant so that the root neck is located only on 2-3 cm deeper. Shoots that form a raspberry bush develop from large basal buds, which need to be protected: they easily break off. It is not necessary to strongly compact the soil under raspberry plantings-if the radical buds are damaged or deeply buried, fruiting of the bush may linger on 1-2 year.
