    Three pepper dressings

Over the summer, I spend three wellness dressings for pepper.
The first one - 1, 5-2 weeks after planting the seedlings (in 10 liters of water I breed 0 liters of liquid mullein and 5 tablespoon of complete mineral fertilizer).

The second - two weeks after the first (for 10 liters of water - 30 g of ammonium nitrate, 2 g of potassium chloride, 40 g of superphosphate and 2 g of boric acid).

I feed the third time during the period of fruit formation. To do this, I breed mullein with water (1: 8). In each bucket of solution I add 30 g of ammonium nitrate and superphosphate, as well as 20 g of calcium chloride.
I'm not complaining about the harvest!

I want to tell you about my failure in growing peppers. I always prepare high beds for them. And last spring, as soon as the snow melted, I spread unripe manure there. When the real warmth came, I made furrows in the beds, sprinkled them with ash, put feathers from old pillows, watered everything abundantly and planted seedlings. It was accepted well, but then my peppers began not to grow, but to wither.

I began to actively feed them - I see, they seem to have begun to gradually come to their senses. I also added treats to them. As a result, the peppers began to bloom, but the emerging ovaries began to dry out and fall off. And then I realized that overfeeding the plantings also does not lead to anything good. But I read about it more than once, more than once ...

The simplest home fertilizer for seedlings of tomatoes and peppers is made from aloe juice. In 1 l water, stir the 3-4 tsp. fresh juice and water.

Such feeding is an excellent growth stimulant!

Noticing that in August peppers cease to grow, many begin to intensively feed them. Do not do this! The reason lies not in the lack of nutrients in the soil, but in the scarcity of heat. While it is cold weather, fertilizing is not available to plants.
As a result, minerals, accumulating in the soil, can reach dangerous concentrations. But if the daytime temperature of 26-28, and at night is not colder + 18 hail, and the soil is moderately moist, peppers can be fed. Better - complex fertilizer.
Effective for peppers at this time and foliar top dressing, but only in cloudy weather, in the morning or in the evening. The concentration of the nutrient solution should not exceed 0,25%. And further. Do not use fertilizers containing chlorine in the greenhouse (the pepper tolerates it badly).
In the open ground it is gradually washed out of the plow layer by rains and goes deep into the soil. But in greenhouses this does not happen, and chlorine gradually accumulates in the plow layer.

    Green manure
I found a great alternative to traditional manure fertilizing the soil - this is fertilizing from the grass!
I use freshly cut grass as a basis. I stuff it with a large 10-liter bucket (to measure the volume, to keep the proportions then) and throw it into an 50-liter barrel for watering, filled with warm water in the sun. Then I take a glass of potassium-phosphorus fertilizers and fill them in a separate container (this can be a small bucket) with hot water.
Stir until completely dissolved and pour into the barrel with grass. I mix the contents and cover it with a black film. Every day I take off the film and mix the contents of the barrel. A week later the green fertilizer is ready. I strain it a little in a watering can and gently pour tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini and other crops carefully under the root. Green cake, which remained at the bottom of the barrel, squeeze and mulch the soil under cabbage and cucumbers. It will give the soil during irrigation additional micronutrients and protect it from drying out. But there is one "but": the cake must be sprinkled from above with earth, otherwise it will become a habitat for slops and slugs.

    Top dressing from nettles
For the preparation of useful fertilizing I take young shoots of the plant and cut them into small pieces.
The resulting mass fill a small barrel and fill it with rain water, but like that. so that there is little space left to the top - the fermented solution will increase in volume. By the way, it is better not to take a metal container - the solution will ruin it.
I do not cover the barrel very tightly and put it in the sun for about 2 weeks. And away from housing - fermented nettle smells bad. Once a day, be sure to mix the contents of the barrel. I know that the dressing is ready by its dark color and the disappearance of the foam. For watering crops, I feed 1 liter of fertilizer in 9 liters of water. For spraying leaves - about 20 liters. I make the solution immediately before use. Nettle dressing significantly increases the yield of garden and garden crops. Except, however, onions, garlic, peas, beans and beans.
