    As soon as the egg in the incubator cracked, my neighbor immediately splits the whole shell. He says that this way the chicken will hatch faster and easier.

    Is he doing the right thing?

      Normally, a healthy chicken does not need any help: after the 19-20 day of incubation it will turn on and hatch on 20-21 day. It's another matter if the incubation takes place with any irregularities. For improperly selected and illiterate incubated eggs, such assistance will be disastrous.

      Here are a few reasons why a weak chicken can not hatch itself:
      1. Overheating of eggs (the chick developed rapidly, but it was not properly formed);
      2. cooling during incubation (delayed development with delayed excretion at 1-2 day);
      3. lack of moisture (over-dried shell and bleeding under the shell film);
      4. excess moisture (the conclusion of weak chicks in the film).
      All these causes have an adverse effect on the fetus, depriving him of vitality and health.

    Organize the feathered paddock so that they move more. By the way, during walks, especially in summer, birds can find themselves the necessary nutritional supplements (plants, insects, etc.). If possible, make the chicken coop more spacious.
    Calculate how many green feeds and nutritional supplements you usually give to your hens per day. The lack of greenery and the excess of vitamin complexes make your hens actively gain unnecessary weight.
    The first week, feed the chickens in small portions, but often - 4-6 once a day. Then gradually reduce the number of feedings to the optimal rate - 2-3 times a day.

    DOES NOT ALWAYS OZYREVSHIH KUR DISAPPEARED EGG, but EXACTLY SHARP REDUCES. TO THE SAME EGG OF SUCH NON-SUSPENSIONS IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR THE INCUBATOR.
    It is not necessary to solve the problem of obesity of chickens radically and get rid of the whole stale population - let the old birds eat meat, but put the 1-2-year-old productive layers on a diet.
    Reconsider the menu of their birds - an overabundance of cereal crops (wheat, corn) or sunflower meal is the main reason for weight gain. Secondly, find out whether all the chickens have enough space.

    Wet pouches on the basis of kitchen waste and cooked potatoes give only in the morning (morning).
    In the afternoon, offer your birds a mixed feed, and in the evening, treat them with whole grains (preferably wheat).

    Daily feed the laying hens with grated beets, small hay. In the summer period - fresh green grass, cabbage leaves.

    To chickens carried in winter
    With the onset of cold weather, the chickens stop rushing. Many take this as a given, they say, it should be so. But you can make chickens fly all winter. I'll tell you how I do it. Maybe my experience will come in handy.
    Useful experience
    1. Variety yeast.
    To do this, 3 a handful of hops I cook well in 1 L of water over low heat for two hours. Turn off the heat and pour 2 glass of sugar and 2 glass of flour. Dilute with warm water to a volume of 5 l. I put in a warm place, from time to time I stir.
    As soon as the yeast has played properly (faded), I put them in the porch or on the porch. In the morning I take a glass of cooked yeast and pour out a half-bucket of warm water. I'm adding 1 art. a spoonful of salt and a mash of derti.
    I serve this dish to the chickens for breakfast and I will also add dry grain for the whole day.
    2. I'm raising the grain.
    In the morning I pour half a bucket of grain with warm water. In the afternoon I pour out the water and put the bucket in the heat. For a day, the germ grows sprouts of length 1-2 mm. More and do not. This dish I give chickens for lunch 2-3 times a week.
    3. I grow the greens.
    Soaked grain pour on 2 art. spoons in the cups of sour cream. For a week, green leaves grow 5-7 in height. I shake out the cups in a bucket of food and bring the chickens.
    Such a green supplement they get from me once in 10 days.
    Thanks to these simple tricks my chickens go well all winter.

    I'll tell you how to grow the greenery of chickens in winter. This is very simple, since the fall of the earth and grain. The dishes for planting are the substrates into which the food is packed in the store, the size of 20x12x3,5 is cm. I fill the ground with a layer of 1,5-2 cm, scatter the wheat grains and sprinkle with the soil. Then I just water, it's better to rain or melt water. For 10 days, a juicy green grass grows to a height of up to 12 cm, it is removed from the mold easily, only pulled the bun and already pulled out with roots and earth. Every day I take out hens on two substrates (on 20 chickens). A good addition to the winter diet. Therefore, the yolks of our chickens do not pale even in winter. At home, I constantly grow about 20 forms with wheat. And what a beauty from juicy, bright greenery, when the window is already late autumn!

    In order to teach chickens to sweep in the allotted places, I lay the so-called podkladnu on the litter, or, as we say, a podkden (false egg), which indicates to the bird that it is necessary to rush here. The situation was as follows: from the raw egg, gently, through a small hole, released the contents. Instead, he poured a diluted water with alabaster, stirred with a thin stick for even distribution inside. I waited until the contents hardened, broke the shell and got a fake egg.

    I know from my own experience that if the young chickens are fed earthworms, then it will grow like yeast, and less. After all, the worm is primarily a source of protein. In addition, the source is free, because if you have few chickens, then for their feeding worms can be planted directly on the site. Nothing complicated: dig a hole depth of 1 m and a width of up to 1,5 m. At the bottom of the layer 15-20 cm we put any manure, sprinkled with sawdust or mowed grass,
    also twenty centimeters. The third layer, of the same thickness as the previous two, consists of a fertile soil. We arrange such a "layered pie" once again and at the finish on top of the obtained substrate we scatter the dung worms, 20-50 pieces per 1 square. m is enough. A pit with worms must be moistened. A month later the pit can be excavated and collected worms for the chickens for joy!
