    THE RIGHT DISTANCE
The distance between the trees in the garden depends on the culture and characteristics of the variety. Consider that on a plot of 6-10 acres apple trees and pears are planted 5-6 m apart, the diameter and depth of the planting pits should be at least 1 m; plums, thorns, cherries, sea buckthorn - after 3-3,5 m, diameter and depth of planting pits - not less than 0,6 m; currant and gooseberry bushes are best planted in rows: the distance between plants in rows is 1 -1,5 m, between rows -2 m.

It is better to fill the pits only with the upper humus layer of the soil. The land of the sub-plow horizons should be scattered in the aisles. Introduced fertilizers (in order to avoid a negative effect on root survival) it is desirable to mix with all the soil used to fill the pits. In this case, nitrogen fertilizer should not be added, since it can have a harmful effect on the growth and survival of fruit and berry crops. A sufficient amount of available nitrogen accumulates in the first year after planting with the application of organic fertilizers.
Some amateur gardeners, whose gardens are broken up on sandy soils, pour clay or peat onto the bottom of the pit. And although this method improves the supply of plants with water, it is better to do it differently. In the spring for autumn planting, compost is laid out of manure and clay (3: 1), which is mixed for at least two times during the summer. The compost thus prepared contains both organic and mineral particles.
When you introduce traditional compost into the landing pit, it is poured onto the bottom of the pit at an even layer of 2-3 cm, then the soil removed from the pit is added, mixed with the fertilizer, a layer of 20 cm, leveled, a second compost layer is introduced into 2-3 cm, then again pour the usual soil on 20 cm and again the compost layer.
