For a season I buy an azalea in buds, but I can't keep the blooming one. What am I doing wrong?

Choose a well-lit place for the plant, without direct sunlight. Place it away from heating appliances, but not deeper into the room (you will need backlighting there for 10-12 hours a day). Comfortable temperature to stimulate flowering - + 10-15 degrees. Azalea loves humidity (70-80%), so more often spray the air around the beauty (if the crown, it can shed the buds) or use humidifiers.
The flower does not tolerate both flooded and dried soil. Waterlogging is one of the causes of leaf fall. When overflowing, the tips of the leaf blades turn brown. Water the plant after the top layer of the substrate dries up with soft water, which is left for 2-3 days or passed through a filter. To acidify the soil, you can add citric acid to it (a couple of drops diluted in water per 1 liter), but not more than 3 times a month. In the fall and winter, feed the azalea with fertilizers containing phosphorus and potassium (according to the instructions).
