Previously, only bush asparagus beans were grown and seeds were sown immediately to the garden. And in the last two years, we switched to an early curly asparagus bean, and we grow it through seedlings. It fructifies longer (from the middle of summer to late autumn), and we harvest more harvest and earlier for 2-3 weeks than with seeded seeds in the garden.
Our favorite varieties: Melody (pods of length 15-17 cm), Caramel (resistant to many viral diseases), Golden nectar (pods of yellow color up to 25 cm). Seeds for seedlings are sown in late April or early May in individual pots or jars, deepening on 2-3 cm.

We put the tanks around the perimeter in a greenhouse or a greenhouse, leaving - just watering. Since shoots of asparagus beans are very sensitive to frosts, we plant seedlings in the open ground (on a sunny place!) When the plus temperature is established not only during the day, but also at night, usually at the end of May or the beginning of June.
Immediately after planting the plants are covered with cut PET bottles. After two weeks, we process the bushes according to the instructions of the Ovary or a solution of boric acid. Pour moderately, a couple of times we feed Mullein solution (1: 10). We start harvesting as the pods grow during the ripeness period. In this stage, the asparagus beans are the most delicious and delicate. We cook the second dishes and salads from it, and also preserve it and freeze it for the winter.

An acquaintance gave the seeds of the curly asparagus varieties of the Purple King variety for breeding. But in the first year, because of insufficient care, she did not mutilate and without herds she drowned out neighboring plants.
    1. Last year, reacted to this bean "with the soul." I assigned a place for sowing on the edge of the garden, where, during digging, I added 20 g of ammonium nitrate and superphosphate, 15 g of potassium chloride to each square meter. I. In the third decade of May, he made circular rows on a bed with a diameter of 1 m (5 circles turned out) into which he sowed bean seeds at a distance of 10-12 cm from each other to a depth of 3-4 cm. 3 ′ When the plants reached a height of 10-15 see, from the inside of each circle I drove supports from long sticks: from the bottom I stuck them in a circle near the plants, and at the top I tied it all together with twine - it turned out like a wigwam. All the supports were stable, not afraid of the wind, and when the beans wrapped them around the top, they also became a decoration of the garden, and it was convenient to harvest. 4- I took care of asparagus beans, as well as ordinary ones: weeded, regularly watered with warm water, loosened and spudded (during flowering, in order not to break flowers, only watered, more abundantly). During the budding period, I fed phosphorus and potash fertilizers - 10-15 g per 1 sq.m. When the beans grew to the top of the “wigwams”, he nipped the tops. At the end of summer, curly asparagus beans pleased with an abundant harvest of bright purple pods, so all my efforts were not in vain!

At the neighbor of the experienced gardener from Minsk the approach to arrangement of beds is that - more variety!
For example, here's how he grows curly asparagus beans. In the prepared bed, they dig in 15-20 cm two inch pipes 2,5 m high. Fastens them on top with a rail from the corners, and from below, for stability, horizontally fastens the bars (2,5 m), to which from a height of 1 -1,2 m lowers the spacers. At ground level, the spacers are interconnected by rails on both sides. From them, 20 shoelaces are fastened to the top of the structure, along which beans are curled (sows in one row on both sides of the garden bed). The green tent is ready! But he grows lagenaria on a trellis, but this is not all the subtleties. Seeds of lagenaria, since they are difficult to germinate, scarify with a nail file and soak until pecking. Sows them in half-liter cups, then replants them. First, they put it in a pot and keep it in the greenhouse, then in a thick plastic bag and from there, cutting the bag, planting a pit 50 × 20 cm on the street by composting method. If you don’t put a special trellis, let the lashes on the apple tree and make additional supports, as lagenaria grows literally by the day, and by the hour.
    SECRETS OF THE WATER
The owner watered the garden from the sprinkler.
    - Irrigation pipes I have three-quarter and three-inch, - says Ivan Petrovich, - one pipe 1,5 mi two in 2 m, all with holes. Put them together. put the 8-10 nozzles, and on the end of the pipe - a plug. I connect the structure to the column, and the water splashes easily. The range of the jet reaches 1,5 m, periodically turn it over and move it to a new place for even watering, and so for a half a day I water 6 acres. True, cold water is not suitable for all plants, so in a bath at an altitude of 2,5 m installed a tank of water for 500 liters. During the day it heats up and becomes suitable for watering. I put the sprinkler even in the greenhouse (in the center). but only after the tomatoes cut off the lower leaves so that water does not get on them. And in the irrigation tank I throw the weeded weeds and, when they are a little insistent, I water the vegetables with "enriched" liquid.
