How to make a water pipe in the country and stretch it to the beds
If there is a garden on your countryside, then the word "watering" is familiar to you - and the delivery of water to beds and greenhouses is an urgent necessity. Mikhail Kovalyov's experience in organizing a summer water supply system at a minimal cost is useful to many.
Today in stores there is a huge choice of means for the collection, distribution and storage of water, as well as for its supply from the source to the point of consumption. But any new flowerbed or newly constructed greenhouse requires changes in the system of hoses or pipes spread out in different directions along the site.
I decided this problem as follows.
Garden logistics
The plot we have is an elongated house, a well and barrels for collecting rain water removed from the bathhouse and garden with greenhouses and a greenhouse. Every year I had to re-lay the water arteries in the garden: one for pumping rain water from barrels to beds, and another for filling well with water in a tank in a bathhouse or barrels for a drip irrigation system. In addition, annually the hoses had to be unwound, unwound, stored and repaired. I had to think about minimizing the length of reclamation hoses, bells and whistles lying on the site and interfering with walking and mowing grass.
The solution of the problem is a water switch
On the site, I made a central highway - a hose stretched from the well to the center of the garden, where I installed the first node (indicated as I in the figure), and then to the second node (II in the figure) connected with the bathhouse. The node is a three-pass ball valve with connectors. I connect the hoses to them either constantly with the help of fittings and clamps, or through quick-detachable connections when they need to be replaced or alternated.

Pumps for water
In the well installed a centrifugal pump, which, in addition to watering, provides the main house with water. The system also included a portable vibrating pump, which pumps out 
water from a barrel 1 at the house and from an additional barrel 2 at the well. In my case, the hoses are both clean well water, and rainwater with an admixture of natural debris, so after pumping rainwater, the hoses must be washed.
Care for safety
Unfortunately, we and many of our neighbors have a sad experience - thieves carry away from the sites everything that is bad. We have to take this into account and take measures to preserve things in the country. I also thought about this when creating my plumbing system.
So, I do not use expensive polypropylene or metal-plastic pipes, but dispense with the usual cheap hoses. The most expensive part of my water switch is a three-way ball valve.
I arranged the system so that it's easy to take off and clean after the end of the season. Now plastic models of cranes have appeared on sale, but they have a small internal diameter. In the annotation it is recommended to use them only for pure water. And since I use polluted water for irrigation, including those with an admixture in the form of leaves and twigs, I chose a three-pass model made of metal.

The scheme of suburban water supply

I join Alexander Maltsev's advice. The water intake system equipped with a float, as in the toilet system, is also very convenient for those gardeners who have water on schedule. You do not think that you can not go anywhere during the watering hours, and you can do something else, more urgent.

And we are connected to the central highway, sometimes the pressure is terrible, so we use the 500-liter tank with a float, because we do not need to monitor / dial manually. Water accumulates, and from there it is fed for irrigation. Plus, water is heated in the sun to a temperature favorable for plants.
