What is good about late raspberries?
The crimson season ends on my site only after a steady autumn frost, because I grow repairing varieties of this culture.
After the end of fruiting, at the end of November, when the top layer of the soil is freezing, the whole of the above-ground part of raspberries I cut off level with the surface of the earth (hemp should not be left). In December, my raspberry looks like an even, clean bed-in this form it goes off for the winter. Due to this, several problems disappear at once. First, you can not worry about the winter hardiness of raspberries. And secondly, together with the cut off shoots, stem cauliflower is destroyed. In spring, in their place, powerful young shoots grow, which begin to bear fruit in August and end in October, and even in November. The late harvest, in addition to being pleasant in itself, is not affected by the larvae of the raspberry beetle.

    Under a thick blanket
Agricultural technology of raspberries in different gardeners, it happens, is very different. But the requirements of this culture are unchanged. Raspberries need air- and moisture-permeable soil. The place to land is where there is more sun. Raspberries react very positively to irrigation with solutions of infusion of grass, manure, and of course, EM (for example, Baikal). I am sure to mulch the plantings with non-ripened organic matter (grass, hay, straw, sawdust, etc.) with a layer of at least 10 cm, and for the activity of natural processes I add very little any manure (this is a starter for bacteria). I monitor the density of shoots, they should optimally
be 7 per bush. The distance between the bushes is not less than 0,7 m, between the rows - not less than 1,2 m.
Of the many proven large-fruited varieties of raspberries, only four have left them. This is Maroseyka, Patricia, Krasa of Russia, Yellow giant.
Grades received from the hands of V.V. Kichin. There were other wonderful varieties - Izobilnaya, Stolichnaya, Tarusa. Unfortunately, they had to part with them due to lack of space.

    Ruby raspberry
Full bambinoz ruby and golden yellow large juicy berries of raspberry raspberries are harvested in our garden from August to autumn frosts. When the autumn is warm, raspberry berries are torn even in early November. Small (up to 3 °) short-term autumn frosts of the plant are maintained.
Repairing raspberry varieties are able to produce 2 crops: summer - on last year's and autumn - on annual shoots. We grow only for the autumn crop, since the summer delays the ripening of the autumn for two weeks, which, with early frosts, leads to the loss of a significant part of the berries. In addition, summer raspberries are usually smaller than autumn raspberries and are often affected by pests (for example, raspberry beetle larvae). Autumn, on the contrary, does not need processing, grows large and environmentally friendly.
To get a high autumn harvest, we cut out all the raspberry shoots to the ground level in late autumn or early spring (so the problem of winter hardiness of shoots disappears).
