It seemed to me that in the last century, something was planted in a square-nest method only on collective farm fields. When I read about it more, I realized that this method is still relevant today. First of all, it is suitable for large and spreading garden residents.

Here and tomatoes, and zucchini, and cucumbers, and pumpkin, and sunflower. They are quite far apart from each other, and it is convenient to make large squares by a cord stretched between pegs from different sides of the bed. But this method is also suitable for those crops that can be sown in general (radish, carrots and others); only the squares, of course, need less to do.
