    Majorana tea always helps

None of my dacha season can not do without planting marjoram. This wonderful plant I use for food and health.

My husband and I drink medicinal marjoram tea: in the summer we make inflorescences, and in the winter - dried herbs. Take 2,5-3 cups of boiling water for 2-3 tsp. chopped marjoram. We insist about 5 minutes. and filter. We try to drink at least 2 glasses of such a drink a day.
Majorana tea forces to retreat my bronchial asthma, and my husband lets you forget about the numerous diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. In addition, tea relieves headaches and weakness, which we, pensioners, suffer, unfortunately, often.

Marjoram is good and as a seasoning. The taste of hot dishes, salads and blanks with the addition of this spice becomes amazing!

Often I hear in culinary programs that a variety of dishes are added with marjoram leaf. Is it possible to grow it in the suburban area?

Marjoram is a fairly popular plant both among culinary specialists and among admirers of traditional medicine. It is best to grow it using a seedling method. Marjoram seeds are small, so it’s convenient to mix them with sand when sowing.

They are sown in early April.

Seedlings are planted with the arrival of stable heat. The beds are placed in the sunniest place, since marjoram is demanding to the sun. The land should be fertile, so that the bed is fertilized from the calculation of 5 kg of manure, according to 30-40 g of superphosphate and ammonium nitrate and 15-20 g of potash salt at 1 sq. M. m. To prevent the plants from interfering with each other, they plant them at a distance of at least 20 cm in the row and 50 cm in the aisles.

Plantings are watered with warm water. 12-15 days after planting, the plants are fed with urea (20 g per 1 sq. M), superphosphate (40 g) and potassium salt (15 g). Marjoram loves frequent, but moderate watering and loosening of the soil. When it blooms en masse - it’s time to harvest, and this is the whole aerial part of the plants. Fresh marjoram is used in the preparation of soups, salads, meat dishes and even scrambled eggs.
