  1. I. Timokhin, Tver

I have a cottage under Tver, I grow a gentleman's set: currants, gooseberries, raspberries. Here with the latter there were problems. Our local garden gurus say: oh, risk, do not bend the raspberries, one day it will freeze with you.

I must admit, bending the process is not easy. It is necessary to reduce the close branches to the right and left together and bend to the ground with the help of metal arcs. And in the spring, do not rush raspberries. The stems are fragile. We must wait for a stable plus temperature. Then, wait a week or two for the branches to straighten, and then tie them to
tapestries or just dissolve. But if for several years your raspberries are not freezing, then, I think, this is not necessary. Well, if there is a building next to it that will protect it from the wind and will hold the snow that will not let it freeze.
