I want to grow an African chamomile for my alpine slide. When can you sow seeds?

      - This exotic flower, also known as gatsania, will decorate not only the garden, but also the balcony, the area near the house. It is quite popular for our latitudes - brilliant (Gazania splendens) - grown more often as an annual. But if you try, you can admire the bright large (diameter up to 8-10 cm) inflorescences, reminiscent of mottled daisies, several years in a row, because by its nature this plant is perennial.
I sow seeds of seedling on seedlings in late February-early March, evenly distributing them on the wet surface of the purchased soil mixed with sand (3: 1). Top with a thin layer of compost and cover with glass. Seedlings appear in about two weeks. Adult seedlings dive into separate cups.
On a permanent place planted at the end of spring frosts, at a distance of 20-25 cm from each other (usually I draw a border with them). Thermophilic and drought-resistant beauty prefers sunny areas with loose nutrient soil. I water only in hot weather. I feed twice a month with liquid fertilizer for flower plants (according to the instructions).
Also grow gatsaniyu and as pot culture. In the summer, pots with "daisies" are beautiful everywhere, where there is a lot of sun. For winter I transfer to a cool bright room. In March, shoots cut at an altitude of about 5 cm, I transplant the bushes in new pots with fresh soil.
