Simple rules for soil in the greenhouse
Greenhouse soil - what should it be
Soil rehabilitation works, which are carried out at the end of the season, help only partially, and through 2-3 the greenhouse needs to either be moved to a new location, which is not always technically possible, or completely change the soil to a depth of 25-30 cm, which is very laborious process.
To increase greenhouse service life, you must follow certain rules. First of all, it is imperative to observe crop rotation, this will help to avoid soil fatigue and the accumulation of specific diseases and pests. When choosing crops, one should rely on the principles of good neighborliness, for example, sweet peppers and tomatoes “live” well in the same area, and basil improves the taste of tomatoes with its volatile products. Cucumbers perfectly coexist with dill. Such crops will not only allow you to get the best harvest, but also effectively use the area of the greenhouse.
When using fertilizers, one always needs to rely on scientific advice, not on intuition or neighbors' tips.
It is best to give preference to folk fertilizers - mullein, ash infusions, herbal teas, humates, EM preparations, biological growth regulators.
During the summer season it is recommended to use mulching, giving preference to compost and humus. This will not only fertilize the soil in a natural way, but also improve its structure, make it loose, porous and moisture-consuming. In addition, mulch saves moisture, preventing it from evaporating. And after harvesting and cleaning the greenhouse, it is best to sow the cider-you, which for the winter should be buried.
And when watering it is necessary to refuse from continuous sprinkling, giving preference to watering under the root or to install drip irrigation.

In a greenhouse, you should try to use less pesticides, it is better to use folk remedies or biological protection: sow plants (calendula and marigolds) that scare off the aphids and nematodes. A nasturtium will help drive the whitefly.
Disinfect the soil by pouring it with bleach on the basis of 1 kg per 1 m3. After that, it must be stacked for the winter, so that it freezes well. Use this kind of soil in the garden can be only a year.

The soil in the greenhouse is not changed: we sow in it in the fall of the siderates, and in the spring when planting the seedlings we add compost to the holes. How many years in a row, following such a scheme, you can plant tomatoes in a greenhouse?
#
Better not more than three years in a row, after which, in order to reduce the diseases and pests of tomatoes in the soil, alternate planting with other crops.

In my garden, the earth is covered with green moss. Why?
#
This phenomenon can often be observed if the soil is wet for a long time, is in the shade, and also has an acid reaction. My land is also green in the garden. Therefore, in the spring, as soon as I see that I "walked" along a section of moss, I loosen the trunks and close up dolomite flour (about 150 g per tree). Soil can be depleted and ashes. How many? I bring it to my eye - there really will not be much ash.
