I consider the creeping tenacious queen of low borders.
Suitable for sunny places and partial shade. The main thing is to thoroughly clear the soil of weeds before planting. In April, I plant the plants at a distance of 15 cm and by the end of the season I get a dense curtain, and after a year the seedlings close into a border. I make sure that the tenacious does not conquer "someone else's" territory - if necessary, I cut off the excess and dig in the rooted mustache with a hoe, which I use as planting material. The plant blooms from the end of May for about a month. I water only in drought, as well as young specimens (while they take root), planted in April-May or August-September.

I don't like to litter the beds with signs and tags. On the one hand, you spend time making them, and then they fall over, they are blown away by the wind ... Why all this? But, on the other hand, when you know exactly where which variety is planted, you immediately take into account the nuances of care, you can make notes in a notebook on growth and yield for the next season. How to be?

I found a compromise! Made signs from pebbles. I collected round flat stones on the river, wrote on them with acrylic paint the name of varieties and laid them around the edges of the beds. Next to the beauty put still small pebbles. Mini compositions were produced, which contained the necessary information and looked decorative.
