GROWING GREEN PEA IN BUCKET KIDNEYS, ETC. – ALL YEAR ROUND WITH HARVEST
About how to grow in old buckets of cucumbers and tomatoes, it was written repeatedly. But this effect is no less effective if you put ordinary peas in the tanks that have served their capacity. But they should be, even with a leaky one, but with a bottom.
MAGIC TUBE
It is known that during the vegetation on the roots of peas, nodules with stocks of digestible nitrogen for plants are laid along with microorganisms that "extract" this element from the air.
Science once found ways to grow nodule bacteria on a massive scale and produce bacterial fertilizer from them nitragin. However, it can only be used in relation to legumes, each species having to correspond to its own type of bacteria.
This means that the soil in which peas grew, without removing roots from it, can be very successfully used to grow the same pea for the next year. But over the winter, a population of beneficial bacteria can be reduced. That's why you should use old buckets or other similar containers.

GROWING PEA IN TWO STAGES
Everything is done very simply. In the first year, peas are sown in buckets and dig them up two thirds into the garden. At the end of the season, after harvesting, the stems are cut slightly above the level of the soil in the container, thus leaving the roots of 8 to the ground. These buckets are transferred to the cellar, where they store until the spring. Since here holds a plus temperature, the soil microflora perfectly tolerates winter.
In early spring, loosening the earth in buckets, sow 2 peas in each of them. By the way, at first you can grow peas indoors, getting a kind of seedlings. And as soon as warm days come (a temperature of at least 15 degrees is considered favorable), the buckets are again dug into the ground and peas are grown as usual. The only difference is in watering, which needs to be done more often and all the time to ensure that the soil in the buckets does not dry out.
Last year's nodules work real miracles - the yield can increase by two, or even three times!
PEA - IT IS USEFUL TO PICK IT
To achieve this, the top of the central stem is pricked. This can be done when plants adapt well to a permanent place. It is best to choose a sunny day, and if in the morning to pinch shoots, by evening the wounds will be tightened, and peas will not be threatened.
Prischipka, like other plants, stimulates the appearance of new buds from the sleeping buds. By the way, they can also be pinched, then the tillering will be even more dense. And this, naturally, sharply increases the number of blossoming flowers and, accordingly, increases the yield. At the same time, the fruiting time is extended.
I also want to remind you that the soil under the peas, even in buckets, must be freed from weeds and periodically loosened, especially after watering and rains.

Council
A large number of pods significantly increases the weight of the plant itself. And this requires the construction of a reliable and durable trellis for peas. It is best to make it from pieces of bars with a cross section of at least 30 × 30 mm, placing them over the garden in the form of an inverted letter “V”. The distance between such supports should be no more than 1 m. Reinforcing or special trellis mesh can be placed on the bars.

GROWING GREEN PEA - PLANTING AND CARE, ADVICE AND FEEDBACK
GREEN PEA IS EASY TO GROW, BUT
To get a good harvest of peas, I always establish a support for them, especially for tall varieties such as Giant, Madonna, Sugar Bomb, Purple Sugar and Purple King.
Supports can be made using metal or wooden pegs and mesh. I install stakes along the edges, stretch the finished mesh, you can just use wire as a trellis for grapes. I tie peas as they grow.
From a lack of moisture, ovaries and flowers fall off peas, so watering is an integral part of care. Before flowering, I water 2 times a week, and during the flowering period I increase watering.
I make sure that there is no drying out of the soil, as well as stagnation of moisture, this is also bad. After heavy rains, I loosen the soil so that there is no crust.
I always fertilize with watering. I use nitroammophoska, especially if growth slows down. I breed for 10 liters of water 1 tbsp. l., mix and spend 1 liter of the resulting fertilizer for about 1 sq. m.
For peas, a dangerous pest is the pea stalk, the caterpillars of which hibernate in the ground. During the flowering period, butterflies lay eggs on the leaves, and after 10 days they have caterpillars that instantly attack the pea fruits.
And such caterpillars descend into the ground a few centimeters and feast on the roots of peas.
If I find this problem, then I spray it with a garlic solution. I breed in 10 liters of water 1 tbsp. l. minced garlic, passed through the garlic.
I insist for a day, then I filter. I spray the peas with this solution. The next day I water it from a watering can over all the leaves. The smell of garlic, believe me, completely evaporates, but the result is only positive - the pests recede.

I love green peas, so I sow it several times during the summer. And now I'm looking forward to a new harvest (the third this summer).
As soon as the plants reach a height of 15 cm, I dip them. This helps tender stems to get stronger. If the peas sow in the 2 row, the beds I only hump up from the outside in such a way that the bushes are pinned to each other and could mate.
While the peas continue to grow, I try to loosen the ground more often. If I grow food, water the peas once in 5-6 days - then the flowering is prolonged, and the pods ripen unevenly. When I want to harvest a crop for freezing and rolling, during the period of growth and flowering, I rule out additional irrigation. And when there are pods, in warm dry weather once a week I pour out 1 sq.m 20 l of sun-warmed water.
