I have developed my own technique, which makes it possible to receive annually a high yield of heads with a mass of 100 g and more.

I try to plant it after cucumbers, introducing before it rotted manure or compost (per bucket per 1 sq. M) and potassium sulfate (1 cup per 1 sq. I grow garlic in a three-year culture. In June, he throws out the arrows, which break everything except 3-4. On them I give the opportunity to mature bulbochkami, which I use for growing a one-tooth up to 1,5 cm. Then I also plant them and get good four-tooth heads.

For the prevention of stem nematode, I soak all planting material in a solution of potassium permanganate. Across the garden with the help of a rail, I make grooves at a distance of 20-22 cm from each other, water them, bring in superphosphate (1 tsp per row) and plant the cloves with the bottom down (planting step - 10-12 cm). Then the bed is mulched with humus.

In the spring, immediately after the snow falls, shoots appear, which, as a rule, are yellow, which is a sign of nitrogen starvation. For top dressing I use a solution of urea (1 glass on 50 L of water) and the next day I loosen the soil in the aisles. During the throwing out of the hands I feed the garlic also with Azofa (30 g per 50 L of water).

Cleaning I spend, when the leaves of garlic turn yellow, and the left arrows straighten. In dry weather, I dig up plants, pull them out, shake them off the soil, lay them on the bed to dry, and then cut off the tops and roots.

When the weather is rainy, I spend the pruning much later: first I bind the plants into bundles according to 10 pieces, hang it in the shed for drying, and only after I take the knife. I store garlic in cardboard boxes in the corridor, where the temperature in winter does not fall below 3 ° of heat.
