    Medinilla is beautiful (Medinilla magnifica)

Description. Medinilla refers to evergreen species of shrubs reaching about 2 m in height, but in the indoor environment, of course, such undulations rarely exceed 50cm. Its branches are bare, but they are also slightly bristly. round shape. Medinillu is appreciated for its absolutely stunning flowers, which are collected in panicles, plants hang. They come in pink, white or pink-red shades.

Agrotechnics. Growing medinilla requires bright lighting, but the leaves should be hidden from direct burning sun. If there is not enough light for the plant, it will either not bloom, or discard all available flowers and buds. The ideal location is west or east windows. The air temperature should not fall below + 20 ... + 25 'C. In the winter months from December to January, the medinilla will be at rest, so you can lower the temperature to + 16 'C. Medinilla needs regular moderate watering, especially during flowering.

Reproduction. Medinillu is propagated by seeds or cuttings.
Using. This plant is extremely effective, valued for absolutely fantastic flowering.

    Gerbera Hybrid (Gerbera x hybrids)

Description. A perennial quite beautifully flowering plant. Its leaves are collected in a small basal rosette. Its main advantage is beautiful large chamomile flowers of various shades. Bloom early spring until late autumn. Room gerbera is short-lived, on 3-4 year the flowering of the bush is reduced, and the plant is replaced with a new one.

Agrotechnics. Care for the gerbera is not difficult. The plant is rather unpretentious; if the gerbera you have enough light and warm, then the blossom will be all the time.
Lighting. Gerbera loves bright sunlight. In the summer on the southern windows of the room gerbera can be too hot - it is better to rearrange it to the east or west window so that the sun is only in the morning or evening. It is also useful to take out on the balcony. Gerbera prefers warmth, but not hot. A sharp drop in temperature should not be allowed. Spraying of leaves (but not flowers) has a beneficial effect on the plant. Gerbera requires regular watering, it does not tolerate overdrying. It is very important to avoid flooding the plant. Reproduction. Propagated by seeds, cuttings or bush division.
Using. This plant looks very decorative during flowering.

Sometimes ideas come of their own when we just observe the usual things. For example, the remarkable potential is contained in the magnets on the refrigerator. After all, instead of the usual pictures on magnets can be real pots with plants. Such mini-pots can be made, for example, from bark of cork tree or ceramics, or even shells of sea shellfish. They are best used to grow small, slowly growing succulents and similar plants. The main thing is that the refrigerator was in a sufficiently lit place.
Another very interesting option - flower pots "upside down". To build such a structure, the surface of the pot must be strengthened by a rigid fine mesh net that will hold the substrate from the rash. Plant in such a container can in fact any indoor plant, which will have to water through the drainage holes in the back (narrow) side of the flower pot.
You can also build a shelving consisting of living plants, or simply "drape" them with a whole wall. Modern directional light sources will help provide such a living surface with a sufficient level of illumination. To give the composition a unique natural color, below you can put aquariums or other containers of water, and also arrange something like a "fountain of tears."
If you live in a private house, then part of the first floor, with sufficient lighting, can be given under the arrangement of a real living garden. In this case, you can not only limit the capacity of flowers and plant large plants simply in the soil, making the surface of the floor a kind of holes. In such conditions, both large house specimens and rather large trees (palm trees, citrus fruits), as well as giant herbaceous plants (bamboo, bananas) can grow.

If you are limited to the conditions of an apartment building, then ask if there is a possibility to break a mini-garden on the roof. In many modern buildings, such projects are successfully implemented, but you can create something similar in the old house. Agree that the green recreation area on the roof of the house is very interesting, unusual and convenient!

In the flower shop for a good growth of houseplants the seller advised succinic acid. Diluted 1 g of powder in 5 l of water, poured and sprinkled with a solution of their "pets."

The first result was noticed already in 2 weeks. The Marantholes have released new leaves and shoots. The ever flowering begonia gave 3 powerful lateral shoots at once, the flowering became more lush.
A good growth of leaves was also in mandarin, ficus, chlorophytum, alocasia, oleander. And even not inclined to rapid growth, cacti and succulents immediately reacted to amber fertilizing: in havortia, 10 babies appeared in a month, and the prickly pear was first "thrashed" with thorns, and then released 8 lateral segments.

Succinic acid, indeed, is useful for plants (both indoor and outdoor): this biostimulator helps them absorb nutrients. Prepare the solution according to the instructions given on the sachet.

Of the tablets that are sold at the pharmacy, the following dosage is allowed: 2-3 g per 10 L of water. You can feed plants one time in the spring (in March-April), and you can regularly during the summer (1 once a month).
