A year ago, she forced her husband to knock down a compost box, where he put weeds and part of the cut green manure all season. But the compost is still not ready, rather a bunch looks like a rotten haystack ... Are there any faster ways to prepare this fertilizer?

      - I put the compost heap in the autumn, and by spring I get ready fertilizer.
At the bottom of the box, I lay a layer (10-20 cm) of straw, stems or leaves of corn, small branches. I throw 1-2 handfuls of ammonium nitrate. I close with freshly cut grass (about 25 cm). I add a pinch of saltpeter.

I cover all 8-10 with shovels of the garden ground. I pour the vegetable cleaning layer with a thickness of 15-20 cm. I again throw a couple of handfuls of fertilizer. Next, I alternate layers, starting with the grass. When 50 cm remains to the top of the box, I cover the compost with soil (5-7 cm), water all with warm water. If there is dry weather, periodically add warm water, so that the compost does not dry out. Once in 14 days, the heap grabs the contents of the heap. If everything is done right, the first time with the mixing of the fertilizer is steam. When the snow falls, stop worrying about the compost.
