    If tomatoes crack
If cracks appear on barely pinked large tomatoes, most likely you haven't watered the plants for several days, and then watered them too abundantly.
The second reason is a violation of the diet. If, for example, a large amount of fertilizer (mineral or organic) has been applied as top dressing. Therefore, during the period of fruit growth, it is better to underfeed the plants than overfeed.
In addition, the fruit can crack if a large number of leaves and stepchildren are removed at a time.

If, in addition to cracks in the fruits, you notice brown spots on the leaves surrounded by a yellow halo, it is most likely that the tomatoes are affected by Alternaria (dry spot). Remove all affected leaves immediately and spray the plants with biofungicide (Fitosporin-M, Trichodermin). The fruits can be plucked 3-4 days after processing.
