Autumn planting of currants and gooseberries- which must be done

LAYING OF RIDER AND CURRANT: MAIN MOMENTS
The best time for planting gooseberries and currants (black, white, red) is the first and second decades of October.
EVERY SITE
Berries have different requirements for the location of the site.
Thermophilic gooseberries are better for "settling" in a warm and well-lit place. Suitable are the southern, south-eastern and south-western slopes.
For black currant, choose lower sites (but not lowlands!) With a large margin of moisture in the soil (not swamped!).
Red and white currants, according to the requirements for location, occupy an intermediate place between the above-named plants.
Since gooseberries are not sufficiently wintery, to prevent freezing in severe winters, provide protection from cold winds.
Groundwater in the berries planting site should not be closer than 1,5 m from the soil surface.
The opinion that gooseberries and currants are shadowy are erroneous. Black currants can be grown in the inter-row of the garden, but do not plant it, like gooseberry, between fruit trees (will bear fruit worse). But the red currant can grow in the spaces between the trees.
PREPARATION OF A PITCH FOR A CANDY AND RIDGE SETTING
Usually black currant bushes are planted in a row at a distance of 1-1,5 m, red currants and gooseberries - at least 1,5 m.
In a pit of 30 depth and 60 cm width, add 8-10 kg of straw manure, 120-240 g superphosphate, 40 g potassium salt, and if necessary neutralize the acidity of the soil - also 100-350 g ground limestone.
As a potash fertilizer you can use wood ash - 300 g per pit. Only in this case, reduce the dose of lime in 2 times.
LANDING UNDER THE TILT
When planting the seedlings, place them in the pit obliquely, placing the root neck in the center, slightly below the soil surface. Spread the shoots fan-shaped. Roots spread out and spread the earth between them so that there are no voids left.
Fill the soil with not only the roots, but also the lower parts of the shoots. Earth drown, so that it snug against the roots. Pour well. With this planting in the first year, a bush is formed with a large number of shoots and a wide base. Cut the ends of the shoots, leaving no more than 3 kidneys above the soil.

The best time to plant currants and gooseberries is early October. Plant blackcurrant seedlings at an angle of 45 degrees, and 8-10 cm deeper than they grew in the nursery. This technique stimulates the formation of adventitious roots, and this will improve plant nutrition. Bury the gooseberries only 5-6 cm. And then mulch the trunks under the bushes with fallen leaves and peat.
TIP: Plant seedlings of fruit trees in such a way that from the moment of planting to the onset of stable frosts, at least
