With a lack of moisture, when the snow melted early and the earth has eroded (and we have constant wind blowing), the moisture goes deep, which means that it is necessary to water the garlic, give it a boost to growth. About watering in general: in all regions, the climate, terrain and land are different. If you don’t need to water in the northern regions, then here, in the Saratov Trans-Volga region, it is simply necessary. We have a risky farming zone, without our help the local gardens and orchards are bad. Therefore, garlic must be watered regularly, as necessary, and watered deeply, since its heads are deep in the ground. Harvest should be in dry weather. I dig garlic with pitchforks with a wide step. I stick vertically and deeply at a distance of about 8 cm from the stem and break in: so the heads are less injured. I put the garlic on the bed of the hour on the 2, then put it on the landing site. When the stems dry up, I shorten them to 20 cm, continuing to dry further.
