I noticed that there can be several reasons for poor fruiting of cherries. It is enough to follow simple rules - and the harvest is guaranteed!

    1. The culture grows well on light sandy loamy soils with a reaction close to neutral. I carry out liming on acidic ones: for digging on sandy loam, I bring in 400-500 g of lime per 1 sq.m, on heavy loamy ones - up to 800 g.
    2. Does not tolerate the proximity to conifers.
    H. Using pruning (in March), I form a tiered or cup-shaped crown in a tree. The branch angle should be approximately 50 degrees. Excessive growth of the lower shoots is undesirable (this reduces winter hardiness).

Mature cherry trees do not interfere with feeding annually.
In October, I put 30-40 kg of compost into a tree into a circular groove around the perimeter of the crown.
In the spring on the open leaves I spray a solution of urea (40 g per 10 l of water).
After fruiting, in August, I give 40 g of superphosphate and 60 g of potassium salt to the tree trunk (imbedded in the soil) - this will make the plant ready for winter, better tolerate the cold and next year will thank for its excellent harvest.

Last year, my five-year-old cherries finally bloomed with wild color. But most of all I was pleased with a large number of fruit began to tangle. But in June, she suddenly found some small worms on the underside of the leaves.

I immediately sprayed the trees with Bordeaux liquid, and soon all this living creature died, but the fruits on the cherries did not form - it seems that they dried up and fell off at the very beginning of their development. Dear gardeners, please explain to me: are pests or Bordeaux fluid to blame for the fact that I was left without a crop?
