Like a picture, a floral arrangement is framed by a border from an evergreen boxwood. Most boxwood species have a green leafy crown, but there are also variegated varieties. This plant is thermophilic, it does not tolerate cold winters, therefore, to create the same spectacular border in the middle zone, you can plant an ordinary privet, for example, the Atrovirens variety, which is a tall, upright shrub up to 3-4 m tall. Its shoots grow vertically. The leaves are dark green, purple-brown in autumn, often persist until spring. White flowers are collected in panicles. Drought-resistant, quite winter-hardy. It is well restored after a haircut. The location for him is best the sun, partial shade. Unpretentious, grows well on soils with a high content of lime.
Flaxenic

The hybrid variety “Red Cauli” looks very interesting, with purple-green leaves on stems up to 30 cm high. It has bright red flowers in small but numerous inflorescences; blooms from August to October.

Spectacular crocosmia
This bulbous plant from the Iris family is also called Japanese gladiolus and montbrecia. Crocosmia in nature grow in southern Africa. Crocosmia has been known in European horticultural culture since the XNUMXth century. The name comes from the Greek words krokos - "crocus, saffron" and osme - "smell", because the dried flowers of crocosmia resemble saffron in smell. Outdated name - montbrecia. given in honor of the French botanist Antoine Francois Ernest Cauquer de Montbre.
The cultivar “Cosmos Severn Sunrise” has orange-pink flowers; reaches a height of 60-90 cm. It blooms in July-September. It grows well in a sunny area on humus-rich, fairly moist soil, but stagnation of water is unacceptable.
It creates an excellent background and gives the landing a vertical accent. Rod millet - a spectacular decorative perennial grass with beautiful inflorescences, therefore it is widely used in garden design. The plant forms a short-root divergent sod. The result is narrow, straight or slightly decaying loose bushes, varying in height, from 1,2 to 2,4 m. The leaf is narrow, linear, green, in the fall - the colors of ocher. Small inflorescences are collected in attractive panicles. Wide air panicles often have a pink or reddish color when opened. It blooms in August and September.

Sweet pea
The favorite of the public - sweet peas - and in this floral ensemble is clearly among the favorites. This fragrant annual is planted in the center, its delicate flowers, graceful curly shoots adorn the high support and the whole composition. The plant prefers deeply cultivated, fertile soils. It grows well in open sunny places, can withstand light thawing. Regular watering and top dressing contribute to plentiful and long flowering.
In the Virtuoso variety, they climb strong, well leafy stems up to 200 cm long. Peduncles are strong, elastic, 25-45 cm long. The flowers are large white, pale pink, bright pink. lilac color 5-6 in the brush. Sail of a flower - with a wavy edge. It blooms from late June to frost.
Spotted broom
This perennial successfully complements the color scheme set by the hybrid cotter. As a background plant creates the desired background in the composition. Spotted sapling is a perennial rhizome, herbaceous plant. The stems are straight. up to 180 cm tall. Leaves are located in whorls, elongated. The flowers are small, tubular, bluish-purple, collected in inflorescences-baskets, which form complex corymbose or paniculate inflorescences.
The compact Baby Bee variety, 75 high, is interesting. It has an inflorescence-umbrella quite dense, dark pink in color. It prefers open sunny places, but tolerates partial shade and shadow.

For the planting background, the Riesenshire variety up to 180 cm high is suitable; it has large bright purple inflorescences on almost black stems. Over time, the window sill expands to the sides, so the free space for planting should be at least a square meter.
