Flowers aggressors in the garden
DECORATIVE PLANTS AGGRESSORS
When I just started floriculture, I picked up bright, but not whimsical plants for my garden. Then I could not even think that some of them would turn out to be worse than weeds and would displace neighbors in the flower bed.
I didn't want to completely get rid of the aggressors in the garden - they decorated my plot so successfully. So I found ways to curb them.
SO FLOWERS AGRESSORS IN THE GARDEN - NAMES AND HOW TO Tame Them
Coleman's coffin
I fell in love with this plant for its long flowering and excellent frost resistance. To prevent roots and shoots from invading new territories, in the spring, in April, she planted a loosestrife in the center of an alpine hill and “paved” it with large stones on all sides.
Anafalis pearl
The ubiquitous anaphalis calmed down its ardor, when in September it planted cuttings of bushes in the apple tree trunk circle. Apparently, the roots of the flower are unable to compete with the powerful root system of the tree.
Virginia Tradescantia
For a gentle tradescantia, I picked up old clay pots. In September, I filled them with garden soil, planted flower cuttings and dug them into the flower bed. I regularly cut off faded peduncles.
Astra long-term
Every 2-3 years in late spring and early summer, I divide and plant bushes of perennial asters, otherwise they will grow strongly and lose their decorative effect.
Bulbous ryegrass
The ornamental grass used to frame the path leading to the house, but it began to "crawl" to the nearest beds. In early June, I dug up all the specimens, transplanted them into sturdy plastic containers and put them back in that form. You can limit the area with a curb tape, digging it to a depth of 20 cm.
