Propagation of bacopa by cuttings
Can Bacopa be propagated by autumn cuttings? How to keep rooted plants until spring? What substrate will be needed to transplant them into containers in the new season? What is the flower sick with and does it have dangerous pests?

- It is easier to root bacopa cuttings obtained from bushes overwintered in a bright room (at a temperature of + 8-15 degrees), in January-April.
But if after the autumn pruning of mother plants there are many shoots of rare varieties left, use them for cuttings.
Sections about 10 cm long must be treated with Kornevin and immediately planted in pots with a loose substrate (wet sand with the addition of% vermiculite) to a depth of 0,5 cm. After that the cuttings are covered with a film and left in a bright place, but without direct sunlight ... It is important to periodically air the "house" and water the bacopa moderately until spring.
With the arrival of stable heat (when the threat of recurrent frosts has passed), the plants are moved into separate containers filled with a mixture of humus, peat with the addition of sand and leafy soil (2: 2: 1: 1). Drainage is laid at the bottom.
To make the bushes lush, it is better to plant them in a container two or three and pinch the tops several times over the summer. Watering - regular, but moderate, top dressing - once every 15 days under the root with liquid fertilizer for ornamental flowering plants (according to the instructions).
PROTECTIVE TREATMENT TANK
Bacopa is quite disease resistant. But when the soil is waterlogged and the bush thickens, it can suffer from gray rot, mold. In the case of the first signs of disease, fungicide treatments will help ("Or-dan", "Abiga-Peak", "Fitosporin-M", according to the instructions). Against a tick, plants are sprayed in the evening with water or a solution of "Fitoverm", against whiteflies and aphids, "Tanrek", "Aktara" are used (according to the instructions).
