FROM THE BED TO THE BOARD - AND TO THE WINDOWSILL
Did you know that peppers and tomatoes are perennials, and if you transplant and take the bushes home on time, they will continue to delight you with the harvest? By the way, not only they ...
7 RULES OF SUCCESSFUL "MOVING" VEGETABLES INTO THE HOUSE
1. You can take almost any undersized vegetables from the garden to the house for growing - dwarf tomatoes and peppers, cauliflower, broccoli, beans, peas, herbs, herbs.
2.To do this, dig the plant 7-10 cm from the stem and transfer it with a lump of earth into a pot with a volume of about 5 liters. Do not try to stock up on larger tubs - it will be difficult to move them, besides, the settlers will no longer actively grow.
3. Select containers with drainage holes or pour drainage (pebbles, walnut shells, broken brick) on the bottom. Otherwise, if moisture stagnates in the pot, the roots may rot.
4. Remove all the old lower leaves from the transplanted plants, and if the goal is simply to allow the existing fruits to ripen, then the flowers.
5. Before taking the migrant home, spray him with a solution of green soap (1 - 2 tablespoons per 1 liter of water) or Fitoverma (according to the instructions) and leave for a couple of days in the hallway or on the loggia, where there are no other plants. Otherwise, you can bring aphids, thrips, spider mites, whiteflies into the apartment.
6. Give the plants a place with diffused light and at least a meter away from batteries (a table or shelf at a distance from the window will do).
7.If the lower leaves of the tenants begin to turn yellow en masse - do not worry: most likely, the plants have sent nutrients to the filling and ripening of the fruits.

GARDEN IN THE HOUSE: USEFUL TIPS
In the fall, I transplant vegetables from the beds into pots and transfer them to the house. I noticed a few interesting features.
Parsley, celery, basil, chives and slug transplanted into a pot feel great, but cilantro and Swiss chard grow better if they are sown in a pot with seeds.
All the boxes and pots in which I'm going to grow greens, wash them with dishwashing detergent, then pour boiling water over them.
After transplanting, I put transparent bags on the pots with plants and leave them for a week. During this time, the settlers will fully acclimatize and begin to grow rapidly.
I mulch the soil abundantly with dormant coffee or chopped dried moss. This helps to retain moisture and protect the plants from drying out when the heating is turned on in the apartment.
Two weeks after the transplant, I dilute 0 tsp in 5 liters of water. natural honey and spray the plants. And two weeks later I feed Rostmoment (according to the instructions).

BEANS - IN BUCKETS, PEAS - ON THE LADDER
I transplant the asparagus beans, which did not have time to give the crop, into plastic buckets with a volume of 3-5 liters. At the bottom of the containers I throw 2-3 handfuls of expanded clay, then - a layer of compost 3-4 cm, on top - a plant with a lump of earth from the garden. In the same place, on the street, I wash the leaves with a solution of laundry soap so as not to bring aphids and whiteflies home.
Two weeks after transplanting, I feed the plants with wood ash (after watering I pour 2-3 tablespoons of ash into the pot, then gently plug the fertilizer into the soil with a fork). When all the pods are ripe on the plants, I pull them out and throw them away (as a rule, new flowers do not appear anymore).
But I plant green peas for growing in an apartment in early September. I take home young plants that have barely begun to form pods. I transplant them like beans. The only difference is that peas need support. I stick long twigs around the edges of the pot, and pull a rope between them with a ladder. By December, the plants completely entwine the trellis and not only delight me with the harvest, but also look beautiful.

EVGENIYA PAVLYUKOVA: If I notice that the basil transplanted into an apartment from the garden has stopped growing, I feed it after irrigation with a potassium sulfate solution (10-15 g per 1 liter of water) at the rate of 1 tbsp. per plant.
