What can be sown in December

Recently, eustoma has become very popular among flower growers - a beautiful flower that looks like a rose. But its development period is very long. And you need to sow eustoma seeds now - at the very beginning of December. It is better to sow the plant in peat tablets or purchase pelleted seeds - then there will be more hope of success.
At the same time, you can sow seeds of indoor plants for growing both at home and in the garden. Now they sow tuberous begonia, pelargonium, coleus, balsam, rosemary, lavender, Shabo cloves. You can also sow the seeds of those plants that need stratification: clematis, primroses, delphiniums and some others.

I'll tell you how I prepare beds and flower beds for perennials, petunias before winter. I dig a trench and put marigold bushes in it, chop with a shovel, and fill the top with a "secret" ingredient - feathers from an old grandmother's feather bed. I pre-moisten them so that they don't scatter. I prepare the second bed in the same way. Then I level everything and spill the area abundantly with water. I embed the feathers in the soil in a year - it is clayey. Usually, by the fall, not a trace remains of them. The earth becomes looser, the composition is enriched - it receives important trace elements: nitrogenous compounds, sulfur, carbon, calcium, iron, manganese, etc. I use not only organic matter, in summer the plants also receive mineral supplements.
