EGGPLANTS SEEDLING - FEEDING AND CULTIVATION
For a long time I did not know anything about this culture, and four years ago I was treated to homemade eggplant caviar, and I was amazed: so delicious! I started looking in books - and for three years now I have been growing this wonderful vegetable.
Now in order. At the end of February, I sow dry eggplant seeds into the soil taken at the dacha, in half-liter cups, cover with plastic bags and periodically water. When the seedlings sprout, I take off the bags and continue to water. So it grows until it is planted in the ground.
In mid-May, I plant the grown seedlings together with the earth in the hole, trying not to damage the roots. I pour in warm water (with the addition of boric acid) and cover the plants with straw. I water it periodically, and the plants, as they develop, subsequently shed the straw themselves.
From my experience I made the following conclusions.
You should not overgrow the seedlings: she will make up for everything herself with proper care.
When transplanting, the main thing is not to injure the seedlings, plant them on the ground (it is better to sow 1 piece in a container).
When transplanting into a hole, it is useful to add ash and pour over fermented grass with honey and boron.
Eggplants are thermophilic, they do not like drafts, therefore, during the scorching sun, the plants should be covered with a simple old sheet on top.
It is better not to fertilize with organic matter.
It is necessary to partially pinch the plants, since they grow several stems. It is necessary!
Eggplant, as a dietary product, contains a large amount of potassium. In addition, he is a natural antibiotic. It is recommended to be consumed by everyone, especially older people, persons with cardiovascular diseases, diseases of the liver, urinary organs, joints and spine.
I will not describe complex recipes for cooking eggplant dishes: there are a lot of them. Let me give you one of the simplest ones - it's very tasty! Try it and see the benefits of growing eggplant.
I wish you all the best in your difficult summer work!

Who would have thought that pea pods are a great eggplant feed? This year I conducted an experiment and added pea pod shells to the infusion of nettle and dandelion. Since my grandchildren come to me every summer, I plant a lot of peas. And then she announced the collection of sashes among the children. In a few days, they brought in a whole bunch. Well, I put them into action.
After the addition of peas, on the fourth day, the infusion, which seemed to have already fermented, foamed again. Interfered. Ambre ... stinging my eyes. But nothing,
put on a respirator. When the infernal mixture fermented and the foam settled, she began to feed the eggplants. The fertilizer was diluted 1: 1 and, all in the same respirator, I watered the bushes under the root on the pre-moistened soil. The cake started up as mulch.
Eggplants reacted to the new "dish" as if they had been poured with living water. They began to grow actively, gave a burst of buds. If not all, then 70% started, for sure! I didn't keep them on the bush for a long time: as they grew up to the size of a palm, I immediately took them off. And then, no matter how you feed, but such a crop will not stretch out the bush!
