TRANSFERRING PEPPER FROM OPEN GROUND HOME - FOR WINTER TO MAKE UP
PRO EXPERIMENT WITH SWEET PEPPER.
In the fall of 2019, removing the greenhouse, I decided to take two beautiful sweet pepper bushes home - it was too much ovaries left on them. We have enough space, seven windows, two glazed balconies. I sow early tomatoes in January - I call them indoor. They begin to blush on the loggia, and our first salads are served on the table for the May holidays.
PEPPERS ON WINTER
So, I brought the peppers, put one in a cake box, the other in a pot, put it on the kitchen window. Watered, fed with ash and meat juice diluted with water.
The peppers bloomed (the ovaries, however, partially fell off) and in December they began to ripen - one yellow, the second red. Yes, they were too small (photo! Taken on December 8), but we ate them with pleasure.
After the New Year, the peppers began to grow, in February they bloomed again, but I cut off the flowers and watered less. The winter was warm, apricots bloomed in March, and I planted the peppers in a greenhouse on the middle ridge under the shelter.
In April, the sun warmed up, the peppers began to grow. I watered them and fed them with mineral water, then with ash. In June, the peppers ripened, I photographed them, but, unfortunately, I sent the pictures to a friend, and deleted them from me without leaving them in the archive.
They were not too large, fruiting until October, thick trunks. I wanted to take home for the winter, but changed my mind.
I dug up and took away the seven that I sowed in February 2020. She put the houses in different containers, put them on the window, where it was cooler. Watered occasionally, as the soil dries up.
In January, the peppers were green, with leaves, it was hot for them from the battery, but I did not hang the curtain (photo 2). Then the day increased, and everything started to grow again: in the spring the thirst for life awakens.
Yes, the last years are hard without winter - November is dark, December is black, January is wet ... And then there is the coronavirus - we were sick throughout December. In January, it snowed, we went to the dacha, they swept it from the rooftops, and in the morning they got up - everything is black again: the snow has melted.
Perhaps someone has already described such an experience with peppers, you forgive me, I have not met. I would like to leave the peppers for the third summer - probably, this season I will try.
