5-year-old pear, most of the branches twist up, down, sideways. Why?

      - The reason, most likely, is in the varietal features of a pear of a particular variety. I recommend annually in early spring (before the start of the growing season) to cut the crown. Over time, the problem with twisting young branches will disappear. If the branches grow in the wrong direction, use spacers, braces and branch benders, fixing them in the desired position until woody.
