Carnation Shabo seedlings - growing planting and care

SEEDLING SEASON STARTING WITH CLOVE
Carnation Shabo has a long growing season: from germination to flowering, a whole six months pass. That's how much) 7 I sow the seeds as early as possible (in January).
FOR SOWING CLOVE SEEDS SHABO
I mix soddy soil, humus, peat and sand (1:1:1:0, 5). I sift the substrate and be sure to steam it.
I take containers with a height of no more than 6 cm, so that free soil does not turn sour. I also disinfect them.
I moisten the soil and lay out the clove seeds, lightly sprinkling them with a thin layer of calcined river sand to prevent the black leg.
I cover the crops with a film and put the container in a place where the temperature is + 16-18 degrees. Unlike other flowers, carnation seeds do not require very high temperatures and light to germinate.
WHEN CLOVE SHOOTS APPEARED
After about 5 days, I put the plant under the backlight. I water the seedlings moderately so as not to provoke the appearance of diseases, and only in the morning. If I see that the sprouts have begun to lie down, I remove them, and sprinkle the soil with activated carbon powder.

DIVING CLOVE SEEDLINGS
In the second half of February (when the plants have 2 true leaves), I start picking seedlings into separate cups about 8 cm high.
I pinch the roots by a third. I do not deepen the root collar.
I protect the seedlings from bright sunlight and put them in a slightly shaded cool place with a stable temperature of about +15 degrees.
I water when the soil dries out. A few days later (usually a week) after picking, I feed it with ammonium nitrate (a matchbox for 10 liters of water).
SHIPMENT
In March-early April (when 4 pairs of leaves are formed), I transfer the seedlings into pots with a diameter of about 10 cm. After the appearance of the fifth pair of leaves, I pinch the tops of the plants so that the bushes become “fluffy”.
TRANSPLANTATION OF SEEDLINGS OF SHABO'S CLOVE IN OPEN GROUND
I plant hardened seedlings in May. I noticed that the carnation is not afraid of short-term frosts and takes root well, especially if it is carefully handled without damaging the root system (I don’t bury the bushes, otherwise the plants develop poorly and slowly). Carnation Shabo blooms well in fertile, loose, non-flooding soils with a neutral pH. Categorically does not accept fresh organic matter, it is better - complex mineral fertilizers.
From July to autumn I enjoy elegant double flowers of the most diverse colors - pink, white, yellow, orange, cherry red. If you want to get larger inflorescences, stepchild plants (remove side buds).
