Hercules was bred by I.V. Kazakov based on mid-season Ottom Bliz. Variety Hercules - mid-season, high-yielding (4-5 kg / bush), gives especially high yields in the south and in the middle lane. It also grows well in the north, but yields are lower here. In addition, yagsda can be sour (according to Siberian gardeners).
When Hercules is grown in the traditional way, as a remontant variety, she gives the first harvest at the end of June, and the second from August to October. A spreading shrub reaches a height of 1,5 m.
Shoots with thorns of medium size. The variety is winter-hardy, but if there is no snow in winter, then shelter will be needed.
The fruits are cone-shaped, weighing 5-10 g, usually covered with leaves, which helps protect the crop from birds. Good sweet and sour taste with a strong aroma. May be affected by gray mold.
The Nizhegorodets variety is remarkable for its very large first berries - up to 12 g. And on average, their weight is about 6-7 g. At the same time, the fruits are sweet with sourness and a wonderful aroma. Beautiful - maroon, conical. High yield (4 kg / bush) is another advantage. Fruiting - from late July to late autumn.
Caramel - with dense sweet berries weighing up to 12 g (this is 3-3,5 cm in length), and the average weight is 6 g. Gardeners love this variety because it does not require support or tying - the shoots are located vertically and even hold well under the weight of the harvest. Ripening occurs in late July - mid-August. Productivity is 4-5 kg/bush.
The Atlant variety has vertical thick shoots, on which a huge number of large bright fruits ripen. The average weight is 8-9 g, but with good care and in warm conditions they can be even larger. Berries are sweet and juicy. They ripen quite late, in August, but thanks to this they are practically not affected by pests (which, by the time the ovaries appear, go into a dormant stage).
The ruby necklace is famous for its beautiful dark red berries of the correct conical shape, weighing 5-6 g (up to 10 g), which, even after ripening, hang on the shoots for several days without crumbling. The pulp of the berries is sweet, tasty, fragrant, tender and juicy, while quite dense.
The Gift Kashin variety has high, up to 2 m, bushes and large, weighing 6-7 g, berries. The taste is sweet and sour, the color is dark scarlet. Winter-hardy, fruitful. In a word, this variety is wonderful in all respects, except that the taste can be sour.
Orange miracle is a large-fruited remontant yellow-fruited variety. Berries weighing 5-6 g, under good conditions - up to 12 g. Excellent sweet taste and bright orange color in conditions of good supply of heat and light. If the summer is cool and cloudy, the berries can be pale yellow and sour.
Bryansk miracle - the variety has proven itself in the middle lane. The berries begin to ripen in mid-August and delight until the onset of cold weather. The fruits are large, up to 4 cm long and weighing 8-12 g. Sweet with a barely noticeable sourness, tender, fragrant. The variety is productive, winter-hardy. NON-REMOVING VARIETIES OF LARGE-FRUIT RASPBERRY
Giant (Pride of Russia) - with giant (8-12 g) cone-shaped berries, beautiful, dark red, like velvet. Productivity 4-5 kg per bush. The lack of spikes is another plus. Bushes do not need a garter. Fruiting in July-August. The taste is good, but in a cold and rainy summer, the berries are sour. Also, gardeners complain that the berry often falls apart into drupes and a mess is obtained. But still, this variety has so many positive qualities that it is worth trying it for yourself.
Penguin - a variety with a standard form of a bush. This means that he does not need support, the bush is vertical, with strong shoots. Early ripe - the harvest can be harvested in June. The berries are beautiful, dark red, round-conical, weighing 4-6 g, sweet with a slight sourness, fragrant. The bush itself looks very beautiful, it can even be used as a garden decoration. The variety is resistant to most pests and diseases. Berries do not crumble after ripening, they can hang on a bush for up to 7 days.
Przehiba (Przehyba) is an early variety of Polish selection. In Russia, this variety has been growing since 2017. A bush 2 m high, it must be tied to a trellis. The berries are very large, 4-5 cm long, weighing an average of 9-10 g, up to 14 g, conical and cylindrical, bright red. This is a dessert variety, so the berries taste wonderful - sweet, tender, fragrant. They are dense and can be stored for some time, they are well transported. They begin to ripen in early July (in the middle lane). Accordingly, in the southern regions, the berries ripen earlier, from the end of June, and in Siberia, for example, at the end of July. If you organize a shelter, the ripening time can be accelerated.
Since the crop ripens on two-year-old shoots, in the fall, after harvesting, it is better to cut them off to give more space and nutrition to young one-year-old shoots, then they will give a good harvest next year. In addition, it is desirable to bend down and cover these shoots for the winter. Nevertheless, the Polish variety is not winter-hardy enough for our conditions and may suffer in a harsh winter.
Fairy tale. This is a new standard variety with very large (weighing 10-15 g) berries, bright red, conical, which ripen from early July to late August. They taste sweet, almost without acid, do not crumble, are transportable. Productivity 5-10 kg per bush. Winter hardiness is average. In harsh winters it can freeze.
