At the end of April I plant lettuce next to the peppers along the edge of the garden bed; it grows surprisingly juicy; I cannot get such results in an open pound, and I have radishes growing along the edge of the bed with tomatoes. It is quickly eaten and no longer interferes with the growth of tomatoes.
I also plant basil in the greenhouse between the peppers, which I also grow as seedlings in cassettes to get an earlier harvest. I tried to plant it with seeds, but, apparently, I accidentally pulled out weeds, otherwise there are no problems at all, I just plant it for seedlings later than parsley, around March.

During fruiting, it is especially important to keep the soil moist. Watering is carried out infrequently, but abundantly with water heated to at least 18 ° C (so as not to provoke wilting). Consumption - 20-30 liters per 1 m2. Pepper shoots are quite fragile, so it is advisable to tie them to a trellis or stakes. Top dressing is also recommended: 10 g of potassium sulfate, 20 g of ammonium nitrate and 15 g of superphosphate are dissolved in 25 liters of water (10 liters per 8 plants). Harvesting begins at the stage of technical ripeness, that is, after 40-45 days after the formation of ovaries.
