TO WISTERIA BRIGHT AND FLOWER FLOWER
A blooming bright waterfall of flowers, a pleasant aroma, a duration of flowering - wisteria delights so much that gardeners dream of decorating their plot with it. True, this vine is not so easy to "tame". Let's talk about the important points of its cultivation.
WISTERIA LANDING PLACE
For wisteria, the soil should be light and fertile. It is optimal to plant it near the southern or western wall of the building (in May). At the same time, the plant is very sprawling, so it needs a lot of space and always strong supports.
SAFE WINTERING WISTERIA
Wisteria is good in the south. But for the middle lane, it is better to take a more winter-hardy species - profusely flowering wisteria, or multi-flowered. But in any case, for the winter, the trunk will have to be covered (to a height of about 1 m), using burlap, spunbond, and old sheets for this.
And the soil under the plant should be mulched (with bark, compost) with a layer of 20 cm and a circumference of 1 m. In the spring, as soon as the sun begins to warm, the shelter must be removed. It is advisable to clear the near-trunk circle from mulch, wait for the earth to warm up and lay the mulch again, but already with a layer of 2-3 cm.

CORRECT CUTTING WISTERIA
An important guarantee of the lush flowering of wisteria is pruning. After flowering, all side shoots are shortened by two-thirds. After leaf fall, all side branches are cut off, leaving only 3-5 buds. Slices are covered with garden pitch.
COMPLETE NUTRITION
It is advisable to feed wisteria once every 10 days, alternating mineral fertilizers (for example, nitroammophoska) and organic fertilizers (mullein infusion 1:10 or bird droppings 1:15).
AND IT IS POSSIBLE IN A VAZON
If the climate does not allow growing wisteria outdoors, you can plant it in a container. In autumn, the plant must be brought into a room with a temperature of about + 8 ... + 10 degrees, and watered a little in winter. In the spring, cut young side shoots to 2-3 good buds. In the summer, take it out into the open air again.
TIP: Buy wisteria seedlings at a garden store. So it is more likely that you will purchase planting material that is propagated vegetatively (by grafting or cuttings), then the plant will bloom the very next year after planting. Seed-grown specimens often flower only after a few years.
