The plant is bushy, 40 cm high. The bush forms a large number of beans. The beans are golden yellow, 15-17 cm long. Juicy, fleshy, without fibers. Seeds oval, white. Variety Laura has excellent taste, resistant to adverse weather conditions and bacteriosis. Beans are great for preparing various culinary dishes and canning.

For several years we have been growing the medium-early Libra variety. The growing season is 60-65 days. Bush-type plant up to 50 cm high. Beans 18-21 cm long, up to 9 mm wide, green, fleshy, without fibers. A very productive variety!
ASPARING BEANS PLANT WITHOUT WHIM - MINIMAL CARE
For growing asparagus beans, we allocate an area with light and permeable soil, well lit and heated. However, beans grow well in shaded areas. around trees, along garden paths.
Often, beans are grown as a compactor for potatoes, cabbage, cucumbers and other vegetable crops.
So that the plants do not get sick and do not suffer from pests, we observe crop rotation, we do not cultivate beans in the same place for two years in a row. The best predecessors are potatoes, cabbage and cucumbers. The beans themselves are an excellent predecessor for almost all vegetable crops. We have noticed that where asparagus used to grow, the soil becomes more fertile.
We sow bean seeds in two terms: May 10 and July 1. Before sowing, soak them in warm (40 ° C) water for 30 minutes, then disinfect them in a weak solution of potassium permanganate. Sow in one row at a distance of 15 cm from each other. Seeding depth - 3 cm. Seedlings appear in a week.
After the formation of three or four true leaves, loosen the soil around the plants to a depth of 2 cm. Remove weeds, water at least twice a week. Be sure to spud the plants so that additional roots appear and nutrition improves.
In the phase of flowering and fruit set, we carry out foliar feeding of plants (2 g of nitroammophoska, boric acid and potassium permanganate per 10 liters of water). Spray the leaves generously with the resulting solution. During the period of mass ripening of beans, we process the roots of plants with wood ash (0,5 l of sifted wood ash per 10 l of water).
BEANS SOUP WITH BEEF
Asparagus beans - 500 g, onions - 1 pc., butter - 100 g, beef - 500 g, potatoes - 300 g, tomatoes - 3 pcs., broth - 1 l.
Stew asparagus beans with onions and tomatoes in butter. Boil the beef and cut into small pieces. Put the beans stewed with onions and tomatoes in the broth with pieces of beef. Boil the potatoes in their skins, peel, cut and put in the soup. Bring soup to a boil. When serving, sprinkle with finely chopped herbs.
BEAN SALAD WITH POTATOES
Asparagus beans - 400 g, onion - 1 pc., mayonnaise - 100 g, salt, sugar, vinegar - to taste.
Put the asparagus beans in boiling water seasoned with salt and sugar and cook until tender. Boil potatoes, peel. Cool and cut the beans into pieces 3-4 cm long, potatoes into small cubes. Add finely chopped onion, salt, sugar and vinegar to taste. Fill with mayonnaise.
