FROM KAPUTNITSA - VINEGAR AND MORE
Somehow a note caught my eye that if you dilute 1 tbsp. 70% (or half a glass of 9%) vinegar in 10 liters of water, add 40 g of green soap and spray the cabbage over the leaves, all the caterpillars will die in just a few hours. I tried it and it worked! Not only the voracious caterpillars died, but the cabbage butterflies did not want to sit on cabbages. True, after the rain you have to spray the planting again.

How to deal with the offspring of cabbage butterflies? These nasty caterpillars gnaw leaves all the time, and I don’t know how to deal with them, because you can’t use insecticides on cabbage - you can later get poisoned by it.

In the arsenal of folk remedies there are many recipes for dealing with caterpillars. One of the most effective plants against these pests is chamomile. Try to make an infusion from it and spray cabbage. You need to take 1 kg of crushed inflorescences and chamomile leaves, pour 10 liters of hot water (60-70 degrees) and insist for 12 hours. After filtering, dilute it twice more with water and add 40 g of grated laundry soap.
But to the old recipes, you can add new ways, born by the inquisitive minds of modern gardeners. So, for many, ordinary toothpaste has become the best protection against cabbage caterpillars, which gives simply amazing results. Here's what to do.
Squeeze out of the tube 3-4 tbsp. l. paste, pour 10 liters of clean cold water, mix well and leave to infuse for 2 hours.
