I learned how to extend the fruiting period of cucumbers until autumn.
In the second half of the summer I conduct an audit of the borage. I cut off all the dried and yellowed leaves. I leave only healthy ones. Withering bushes are removed. On healthy ones, I cut off the lowest lashes. I lay the main stems in a small ring in a hole about 5 cm deep, fall asleep with humus and water with heated water. I mulch the ground under the bushes with a thick layer of straw or rotted sawdust. I spray the plants with a solution of Fitosporin according to the instructions, and after 1 - 2 days - with a solution of urea (15 g per 10 l of water). After 5-7 days, I bring a Uniflora Micro solution under the root (10 ml per 10 liters of water), and a week later - a solution of Zircon or Epin, prepared according to the instructions. To protect the bushes from diseases, every 7-10 days I spray the plants on the leaves with an infusion of onion peel (0 l of the husk pour 5-2 l of boiling water, insist for a day, filter, bring the volume up to 3 l with water).

In February of this year, I planted cucumber seedlings in buckets in the house. And nearby grew leaf celery in pots. There were a lot of ovaries on the cucumbers, and we even picked a few cucumbers. And suddenly they were attacked by a white aphid, which then turned black. The leaves began to turn yellow and curl, the ovary. I immediately took action: I began to treat with different solutions, but it did not help. Even the celery, garlic and geraniums that grew nearby did not manage to scare away the aphids. She also settled on celery.

Results: aphids won, cucumbers disappeared, celery survived. Colleagues who have had a similar experience, I will be glad if you tell me how to deal with this infection.
But there is also a good result! Cucumber variety Beijing gourmet F1 was very pleased.

In May last year, I planted seedlings of cucumbers in a film greenhouse, and everything went well: they grew and bore fruit. But in July, a strong heat began, and the leaves began to turn yellow and crumble right in my hands. I cut them off and removed them from the greenhouse - I was afraid that it might be some kind of disease. I tried to save both the leaves and the cucumbers in general: I sprinkled them with whey, manganese, onion peel and other solutions. Nothing helped.
As a result, I decided to continue processing only with a solution of manganese. Result: the creepers stood naked, and new green leaves began to grow on the tops. Then the cucumbers bloomed again, began to bear fruit, and even in autumn they pampered us with cucumbers, albeit a little.
I am interested in the opinion of colleagues: what could happen to my cucumbers? Was it the heat that badly affected or was it some kind of disease?
