On my site, the rabatka is one-sided, located next to the house, fifteen long and about one meter wide. And as a result, the softer flowers froze every year. Of course, there are more hardy ones who are not afraid of our winters. These are aconite, rudbeckia, gelenium, delphinium, solidago, but they are too high for a discount.

And then he opted for letniki. In terms of the beauty of forms, the brightness of the color of flowers, and especially the duration of flowering, many annual plants are richer than the usual perennials. This is a plant with thick, juicy gray leaves and large flowers in all shades of yellow and orange, somewhat similar to gazania.

Hylia has inflorescences reminiscent of Drummond's annual phlox. It blooms from May to August. The flowers have a purple-blue color. I sow the seeds in a pot in March, and plant seedlings with an earthen clod at the end of May.

An amazing plant with graceful cut leaves and a mass of beautiful motley butterfly-shaped flowers - Vizeton schisanthus, resembles an orchid. In color, it looks like a regular pyramid about 50 cm high, completely strewn with small variegated flowers of white, red, purple, purple tones. I sow seeds of schizanthus in open ground in May. The plant does not tolerate frost well, so at first in the evenings I cover the crops with a film. I thin the seedlings at a distance of 30 cm.

In the umbrella family there is a plant with very beautiful flowers - didiscus. Its blue flowers are collected in hemispherical inflorescences resembling the heads of decorative onions. I propagate this plant by sowing seeds in bowls in April. I plant on a discount in May.

Every year I test new flyers. Now I am “running in” Moroccan flax, nicternia, collinsia, eicharidium, erizimum, cosmidium, ragwort, gaura, anagallis and browallia.
