It is imperative to deal with these pests as soon as possible, and with a strong spread, forget about folk remedies - it will be a waste of time. When it comes to saving the crop, you need to use only proven means.

COTTAGE MOTH

It is this pest that can nullify all your expectations about a big harvest. Codling moth must be fought with insecticides. The most active drugs against it are Aktara, Akarin, Konfidor, Golden Iskra, Apaches and Alatar.

If there are not very many codling moths, then you can first use biological preparations that are much safer for the environment.

For example, Lepidocide is very effective. In order to feel the maximum effect from the use of this drug, it is necessary to treat the plants with it three times with an interval of about a week or a little less. In this case, the optimal consumption is about 20 ml per bucket of water.

"Bitoxibacillin" will also help. A couple of treatments are enough here with an interval of a week or a little less. Consumption rate -40 ml per bucket of water.

A good drug "Fitoverm", they can be processed at least the entire season, spending only 10 ml per bucket of water.

For the purpose of prevention or when pests can be counted on the fingers, it is permissible to try folk remedies: infusions and decoctions of strong-smelling herbs such as tansy, wormwood, as well as decoctions of tomato or potato tops. For effectiveness, such treatments will have to be carried out the entire season about once a week.

APHIDS AND FIGHTING IT

No less dangerous pest, although its harmfulness is not always immediately noticeable. But, damaging the leaves, the aphid also destroys the normal processes of photosynthesis, and this leads to malnutrition and the loss of part of the ovary. In addition, the growth processes of shoots are disrupted, they become ugly, and fruit buds are not laid on them, therefore, next year there will be no harvest at all or there will be little.

Against aphids, you can use the same "Fitoverm"; processing is carried out three times with an interval of a couple of days. Good drug "Accord"; usually a single treatment with a rate of 3 ml per bucket of water is enough.

If you use the drug "Alfacin", you will have to carry out three treatments, once every three weeks, spending 3 ml per bucket of water.

Again, if there are very few aphids, then it is appropriate to carry out treatments with folk remedies. Especially good infusions of celandine or mashed fresh garlic. Day insist, filter and spray. For a couple of weeks, aphids can be forgotten.

If aphids have settled on plums and cherries, then you risk losing the entire crop. In this case, forget about folk remedies and use drugs such as Kinmiks, treating twice with an interval of two weeks and spending 3 ml per bucket, as well as the Dandim preparation according to the instructions - usually one treatment is enough.
