How I Doubled My Raspberry Yield With Homemade Feeding

HOMEMADE FEEDING FOR RASPBERRY
I'll tell you how I doubled the yield of raspberries. And she did it with the help of homemade top dressing.
At the beginning of each season in April, in addition to pruning raspberries, in order to awaken the bushes and energize them, I prepare a vitamin cocktail: in 10 liters of warm water I dilute two half-liter cans of ash, 300 g of chicken manure, add onion peel (I don’t regret how much ) and insist 4 hours. Then I pour all 10 liters of the composition under the bushes and mulch the ground under the raspberry tree bark (when it rots, it will become additional food). In the future, every week I also bury potato peelings under the plants.
Thanks to this homemade top dressing, I collect raspberries twice as much as usual.

WORD TO THE SPECIALIST
To increase the yield of raspberries in early spring (1st - 2nd decade of March), I advise you to feed the plants with nitrogen - for example, ammonium nitrate: scatter the granules over the ice crust at the rate of 10-15 g per bush (ice will melt in the sun, dissolving fertilizers).
The vitamin cocktail that the reader recommends refers to an organic plan of nutrition, the use of which is possible in addition to nitrogen fertilizers, but not in place of them. In general, during the season, raspberries before harvesting need to be fed with mineral (including water-soluble) fertilizers at least three times.
But I don’t advise you to bury potato peelings under the bushes, otherwise you risk attracting wireworms, nematodes, bears, and mice to the site. It is better to send kitchen waste to compost, then using it as rotted organic matter.
WHAT TO FEED RASPBERRY - FOLK TIPS AND RECIPES
WHAT TO FEED RASPBERRY? MY SUPPLEMENTS
At the beginning of June, I always give raspberries two top dressings with organic fertilizers. The first stimulates the growth of green mass, and the second increases the yield. They not only benefit raspberries, but are also environmentally friendly.
To prepare the first dressing, I prepare an herbal infusion, for which I put all the weeded weeds together with the roots in a plastic barrel. When the barrel is half full, fill the grass with water, add 1 liter of whey or kefir and close the lid. At the top, there should be a gap from the air from the top edge of about 15 cm, otherwise the infusion will start to run away during fermentation. To make the process go more intensively, I periodically mix the herbal drug with a wooden stick.
I start feeding raspberries with infusion, depending on the weather, after 7-14 days. I choose the moment when fermentation is most active. It is impossible to overexpose the brodilovka, otherwise many useful substances will disappear from it. I dilute the infusion with water for raspberries 1:5, for other crops -1:7. Under each bush I pour one 5-liter watering can.
For the second top dressing, which I spend two weeks after watering with green fertilizer, I use wood ash. And in order for it to be useful, I first scatter a glass of ash under each bush, then cover it with a layer of mulch. The fact is that when making the ash, it is necessary to embed it in the soil, because under the influence of sunlight and moisture, its chemical composition changes - useful microelements turn into water-insoluble forms. And since the roots of raspberries grow shallowly and are easily damaged when embedding ash in the soil, I pour a bucket of loose compost from plant residues under each bush as mulch.

What fertilizer is best for raspberries in the spring?
#
Immediately after the snow has melted and the top layer of the earth has thawed (by 5-10 cm), it is preferable to use mineral fertilizers with their incorporation into the soil. The following options are possible: azofoska (20 g per 1 m2), urea (10 g per 1 m2). Two weeks later, organics will be required. Humus or compost is best suited, which are applied at the rate of 8 kg per 1 m2. A good option could be watering with a solution of ash (100 g per bucket of water).
Also, ash can be scattered over the surface and buried in the soil (100 g per 1 m2). If it is used in combination with other means, the break is maintained for at least 7-10 days. Another well-known folk way to feed raspberries is to water with nettle infusion. A bucket is filled halfway with freshly cut plants, after which they are poured with boiling water, covered and left to infuse for a week. The finished product is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:5 before use.

Thanks to homemade top dressing, she doubled the yield of raspberries. And no "chemistry" is needed!
In early spring, with a sharp pruner, I cut out dry, damaged branches and shoots older than two years from raspberries. Moving from the center to the sides, I form a beautiful, neat bush. Then I pour hot water over the plant and loosen the earth around.
After a haircut, I immediately prepare a “vitamin” for my raspberries, because what
The sooner you feed, the sooner you will reap a rich harvest. In 10 liters of water I dilute a liter jar of ash and 300 g of chicken manure. I add, without regret, onion peel. I mix and let it brew for 4 hours. I pour all the ready-made infusion under the bush and mulch with bark.
