One effective folk remedy for onion flies
ONE WATERING - AND THERE IS NO ONION FLY!
My onion was suffering from onion fly. And then one day the daughter brings a recipe that was given to her by a man - apparently, an experienced gardener. She works in a pharmacy and noticed him because he kept checking the weight in grams when shopping.
She asked him why he was asking about weight, and he said that he needed to prepare a solution from an onion fly. He said that when the onion grows 12-15 cm, it needs to be poured with a solution from the fly, and the recipe is as follows: for 5 liters of water, a glass of salt, a vial of iodine (10 ml) and 2 g of potassium permanganate.
It is necessary to dissolve the salt well, and for watering, add 10 liter of the resulting solution to a 1-liter bucket of water. Pour the onion with the finished mixture - one treatment per season.
But it is impossible to get rid of the bear on my peat bog, only mechanical protection saves.
I plant cucumbers and cabbage in plastic jars, after cutting off the bottom and making a cut on the side so that they can be removed later if necessary.
I use cans of sour cream (400 g), deepening them 2/3 into the ground. The resulting rim does not allow the bear to cut the stem or gnaw off the roots while the seedlings are young, and when the plant gets stronger, the jars can be removed - the bear is no longer scary.
