EXOTIC TOMATOES - GREENHOUSE GROWTH
Every year I grow various varieties of tomatoes, among which there are real exotics with an unusual shape, color, size and taste of fruits. All of them are tall, so they were planted in a greenhouse and formed into 1-2 stems with the removal of stepchildren.
Green Chile
A variety with this name distinguished itself by violent growth and abundant fruiting. The fruits are small - 80-100 g, in the form of a small pepper with a spout. They almost do not change their green color even when fully ripe. The main highlight of this variety is an unusual taste: very sweet with hints of tropical fruits, while the pulp literally melts in your mouth.
The Green Chili variety is quite tall, with a long fruiting period, high-yielding, there are from 10 to 20 emerald tomatoes on each bunch. A slight difficulty arises when harvesting fruits, since ripe tomatoes are not much different from unripe ones. Fully ripe tomatoes become soft with a slightly yellow flank. When harvesting, you have to not only inspect the bush, but also feel the fruits, checking how supple they are.

White cherry
The fruits of this variety can literally be eaten in handfuls: their weight is no more than 3 g, they have a pleasant sweet taste, unusual for a tomato. The variety is tall, unpretentious, with a long period of fruiting. During ripening, the fruits become bright yellow, the bushes look beautiful and attractive, the picked tomatoes are juicy and tasty. In the greenhouse, the fruiting of this variety was the longest, despite the fact that in late autumn it was no longer very warm and there was little sun.
black icicle
This exotic was distinguished by a powerful growth of tops, but a meager harvest. There were few brushes on almost 2-meter stem, and each had only 2-3 fruits. But I was pleased with their “appearance”: in the form of an elongated cream, smooth, dense, brown in maturity, weighing up to 100 g. Taste qualities are at the level of ordinary varieties with dark pulp, without any exotic frills. But dense fruits are good in salting and original on the bush.
bicolor pineapple
The originality of the variety lies in the two-color color of the fruit, not only on the outside, but also in the fleshy pulp with almost no seeds. Moreover, these are not stripes and strokes, but namely alternating sections of different colors. This variety of tomato is a real exotic, capable of diversifying the everyday diet. The fruits are flat-round, weighing up to 300-400 g, the taste is sweet, the pulp is soft. The variety is especially good in salads.
Mary Robinson
Large fruits weighing up to 500 g of this variety have a flat-round shape, at maturity the external color is orange with a pink blush. The flesh is orange-pink, very fleshy, juicy, good taste, almost without seeds. The variety is mid-season, medium-sized, in the greenhouse it reaches a height of 1,5 m, it requires a garter to a support and pinching.

Nectarine
The fruits of this variety are not two-colored, but an even bright red tone. They are large and very elegant, do not have even minimal pubescence. From this, the tomatoes look glossy, as if they were rubbed with vegetable oil. The name says about the taste of tomatoes of this variety: they, like nectar, literally melt in your mouth. Taste - without acid, sweet, delicate. Ripe fruits are stored no more than a week.
