WHICH APPLE VARIETIES ARE THE SWEETEST - PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
I love apples very much, I test new varieties whenever possible, I look for information. And today I want to share my list of varieties with the sweetest fruits.
There is almost no acid in them, or there is, but a little: and the taste turns out to be dessert. In our family, both children and adults appreciate them very much.
This is perhaps the sweetest variety of all. Yes, and the name speaks. The variety was bred by the famous breeder Sergei Ivanovich Isaev. Summer maturity. The fruits are beautiful, yellow with a reddish blush, medium size (110-130 g). The skin is tender, thin, which is also good. The pulp is juicy, dense, with the aroma of sweets and a hint of honey. The yield is low, but I have not yet observed the frequency of fruiting. Although I don’t need a high yield - we have enough to enjoy delicious apples, but they are not stored for long, like all summer ones, 2-3 weeks.
Sweet couple together with Candy. In general, they are similar in many ways. And this variety was also bred by S.I. Isaev. Summer maturity. The fruits are small (100-140 g), yellow with a blush, attractive. The more sunlight hits the apples, the more rosy they are. The pulp is creamy, juicy, fine-grained, very aromatic and sweet. It is distinguished by high yield and resistance to scab, unlike Candy, which sometimes suffers from scab, and its yield is smaller. Winter hardiness is excellent in both varieties.
Another variety with a sweet name and sweet apples. But this variety, unlike the two previous ones, has a winter ripening period. Apples are large, weighing 160-200 g, yellow with a solid blush gradually flooding the barrel - bright, raspberry (however, in removable maturity, the skin is greenish, only then it becomes beautiful, because the variety is winter). The pulp is also beautiful, white, juicy, crispy, prickly, fragrant. Apples are stored until February. The tree is immune to scab, winter-hardy, bears fruit annually.
This early winter variety was enjoyed by all members of our family. Apples are sweet, dessert, large (150-180 g, and sometimes up to 250 g), greenish-yellow with a bright solid blush. The pulp is very juicy, dense, white, prickly, fragrant. They lie until the middle of winter, hence the name. The tree is not affected by scab, early fruiting, frost-resistant.
The variety is old, but what delicious apples! It was also bred by I. V. Michurin. Unfortunately, the first fruiting will have to wait a long time, 5 years, unlike modern early-growing varieties. But then you will collect very fragrant, ruddy, medium-sized (80-130 g) apples with white juicy pulp of dessert taste. I collect them in early October, put them in storage, and already in the process of ripening, a wine shade appears in taste and a spicy aroma. The fruits lie until April. In severe frosts, tree shoots can freeze slightly.

The variety has a lot of advantages. The tree does not get sick, is immune to scab, annually gives high yields, winters well. Apples are very sweet and fragrant, large (150-170 g), yellow with a blurred pink blush. The pulp is tender, very juicy, prickly, creamy, with a caramel flavor. They are stored for a short time, since the variety is summer.
Early autumn variety. The tree is winter-hardy, resistant to major diseases, gives high yields. Apples are large (120-150 g), round, beautiful, with a greenish-yellow skin with a pink blush. The flesh is juicy, white with pink streaks and inclusions, very sweet, with a raspberry flavor. A real delight!
Autumn variety with large (250-300 g) yellow fruits with red stripes. The pulp is creamy, fine-grained, juicy, sweet, with a slight aroma. In addition, the fruits contain a high content of vitamin C. The tree is immune to scab, winter-hardy, and productive. I harvest in mid-September, and the fruits become usable after 2-2,5 months. By the way, apples of this particular variety are very good in processing. I tried wine from them, cooked jam (the high content of pectin in fruits allows you to get thick jam and marmalade), and also dried slices of these apples. Dried fruits are amazing!
And I will name a sweet couple of foreign varieties.
In translation - "honey crunch". And there is. Apples are amazing! Sweet with a slight acidity, incredibly tasty, with a delicate aroma. The skin is yellowish with a red blush in the form of strokes, and the flesh is very juicy, fine-grained, tender, chipping. The size of the fruits is average - 170-250 g. I harvest them in mid-September, and from the beginning of November you can start eating. The fruits will keep for six months.
Apples are golden, beautiful, with pronounced dots that give the skin a characteristic roughness. Large, weighing 150-170 g, slightly elongated. The pulp is light yellow, very sweet and juicy, dense. In the process of maturation, it becomes even sweeter, with a spicy aftertaste.
This variety is zoned in Russia in the North Caucasus region and in the Kaliningrad region, but it has not yet frozen with me. True, the branch is grafted into the crown of an adult apple tree. I harvest in late September - early October, depending on the weather. Apples are stored until April.

Dear Zlata Vladimirovna! Planting seedlings on the lawn is wonderful. In such cases, I dig the most minimal landing hole, so long as the roots enter. I do not apply anything, especially mineral fertilizers. I sprinkle only with earth from the hole.
I water the plantings well, and at the beginning of the appearance of foliage I feed the trees with a solution of any organic matter, from manure to grass infusion. There is everything necessary for apple trees on the lawn, their roots always enter into symbiosis with the grass of the lawn.
