    WINDOWSILL CRESS

Watercress is a spicy plant containing many beneficial substances that normalize the activity of the gastrointestinal tract and thyroid gland. Watercress greens contain vitamins B, D, E, ascorbic acid and mustard essential oil. As an additive it is suitable for all vegetable salads.
This is how I grow it. I pour a 3 cm layer of soil into a low container and place dry seeds on top. Then I spray it with water from a spray bottle so that the top layer of soil is wet. I cover it with a plastic bag and put it in a dark place. After a day, shoots about 1 cm high appear. I take the container out of the bag and place it on the windowsill.
The container needs to be turned 2 times a day so that the seedlings grow evenly and are not one-sided. I water it daily with settled water. In a week you can already harvest!
