FEEDING FOR FLOWERS IN SPRING - WHAT AND WHEN
If the spring sun has already warmed the soil, and perennials have begun to wake up in the garden, then it's time to start feeding them. As a rule, plants need fertilizers from the third year of life. Young specimens receive nutrition from the soil filled during planting.
FEEDING OF BEARDED IRISES
In the spring, feed them with a complex fertilizer with nitrogen. And during the season, especially in summer, wood ash is perfect as a top dressing and deoxidation of the soil. It can not only be applied to the ground or insisted for watering under the root, but also sprinkled directly on the leaves. The only disadvantage of such a “quick” application is dirty stains on the plates.
FEEDING OF PANICULATE AND TREE HYDENSIAS
In early spring, when plants are just beginning to wake up, they need a complex mineral fertilizer with a high nitrogen content. During the active growth of young shoots and foliage growth, use the same complex, only in liquid form (according to instructions). At the beginning of flowering, alternate "mineral water" with organic matter (mulching with leaf humus, well-rotted manure or compost). Not later than the first decade of August, it is useful to add iron in chelate form, you can use the leaves. For example, add Cytovit (1 ampoules) to Ferovit (2 ampoule) and dilute with water according to the instructions.
FEEDING OF HERBAL PIONS
With the appearance of red sprouts, fertilizers containing nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus are scattered around the plants. The soil is loosened and humus or compost is added (1/2 bucket / bush). Two weeks before flowering, an infusion of mullein (1:20) is given with potash and phosphorus fertilizers (1 tbsp / 10 l each). Peonies respond well to trace elements: boron (1 tablespoon / bucket of water), manganese (pink solution). The third top dressing - in September-early October - with mineral or organic fertilizers.
FERTILIZING GARDEN ROSES
After pruning, 1/4-1/2 buckets of rotted manure and 25-30 g of ammonium nitrate are added under each bush. After 10-15 days - ammonium nitrate (10-15 g), superphosphate (25-30 g), potassium salt (10-15 g). You can also use complex fertilizers (nitroammophoska, azophoska or Kemiru. Universal). Feed every 2 weeks. When mineral fertilizers are applied to the soil, 2-3 scoops of compost are also covered. Mullein infusion (1:10; 5 l per plant) is watered from May to the end of July once every 15 days. You can use an infusion of bird droppings, herbs, ash. In August, superphosphate (40 g / sq.m) and potassium salt (15-20 g) are added, in September - potassium magnesia (40 g) and ash (50-100 g).
FEEDING OF PHLOKS
In the spring, dry top dressing is applied (20-25 g of ammonium nitrate or 10-12 g of urea, 15-20 g of potassium chloride and 15-20 g of superphosphate / sq.m), the soil is loosened. In the second decade of May, they are watered with liquid organo-mineral top dressing (1 l of mullein infusion or 0,5 l of chicken manure, 20-25 g of ammonium nitrate, 15-20 g of potash and phosphorus fertilizers / 10 l of water). A bucket is enough for 2 sq.m of landings. At the end of May-beginning of June, they repeat, increasing the dose of potassium-phosphorus fertilizers to 30 g of each element. From mid-June, they are watered with a solution of phosphorus and potassium (70 and 40g / 10l).

Feed the plants: for decorative deciduous and coniferous crops, use nitrogen fertilizers - scatter them directly on the snow or on the ground along the perimeter of the crown. Flowering perennials need complex mineral fertilizers - scatter them between plantings.

For hydrangeas, coniferous plants, such as arborvitae, are good neighbors. They also prefer acidic soil. When planting, one nuance must be taken into account: it is impossible to plant hydrangeas close to the trees, otherwise the powerful roots of the neighbor will take almost all the moisture. And this over time can lead to the death of the plant. Therefore, the neighborhood with trees is possible at a distance of at least 2-3 m.
