Accelerated breeding method for violets
HOW TO PRODUCE YOUR PLEASANT VIOLETS VERY QUICKLY?
Once in the market I was struck by its virgin beauty white terry violet. I couldn't resist and bought two sheets.
At the same time, the saleswoman said that the leaves in a glass of water should not come into contact either with each other or with the walls of the vessel. But I have learned from my own experience that this is not the case.
I buy land in the store. For violets, a special soil mixture is sold, but any one is suitable, even the one for seedlings. The only thing I add is a handful of ash. I was convinced that in this case the leaves of violets give more children (sockets).
But to get a blooming violet from a leaf, you need 11-12 months. And there are such slow-witted violets that more time passes until you wait for the children to appear. But one day I found interesting information: in order for the leaves of violets to give babies faster, they need to be cut, that is, shorten the leaf blade. And since large-flowered violets have large leaf blades, they have to be cut in half.
And I cut. But my hand did not rise to throw away the tops of the plates, and I immediately dug them into the ground in a glass of yogurt, not counting on anything, in general.
Imagine my surprise when the earth began to bulge out of the cups. After all, I planted the tops tightly, and they gave 10-13 rosettes each. I had to cut the cups in the upper part in order to remove the tiny children and seat them separately. Now I try to cut the upper part of the plate a little more and seat less often.
I water the violets with settled water at room temperature as the topsoil dries out with care, without getting on the leaf blade and in the center of the outlet (otherwise brown spots will appear on the leaves or, worse, the plant itself may die). It is best to water along the edge of the pot or from a watering can with a long spout. I spend top dressing in 7-10 days, alternating fertilizers. I noticed that violets love Agricola with a full range of micro and macro elements and Ecosil (all according to the instructions attached to the fertilizer).
